Where Will Peyton Manning Play? Vegas thinks it's Arizona. VOTE!

With that logic, why not Favre? He has a couple of MVP's and a Super Bowl ring. How about bringing Marino back - he recently lost 22 lbs, I saw him on a commercial on TV, he looks like he is in playing shape.

You seem to forget that since Peyton accomplished all those things, he got older, missed an entire season and had 4 neck surgeries. Crazy thought, what if you sign him, let him have all the say and he can't play? Then you have wasted millions in cap space, and the team is in an even worse place then they are now.

Wish the thanks button was still workin well said and I feel the same way. Signing Peyton could be a worse mistake than Culpepper with the possible cap implications. Before anyone jumps I said could.

Those teams with more money can restructure and le go also. Im just saying a team with a 20 somthing million cap advantage over us has an advantage in paying him.
We dont have alot of options to shed that much salary in reality unless we get rid of valuable guys. As for other advantages its all a matter of opinion.

Not to Peyton I believe. Peyton doesn't necessarily need more money. Sure it's nice, but he has plenty of it. If Manning wants to win now, I think Miami gives him one of the better chances to do that. Not only that, but he's closer to home and already has a house in the area. Not only that, but he's got TONS of big name people calling for him in Miami. I have yet to hear of that in Arizona or Denver just to name a couple. And what top QB wouldn't salivate at the thought of destroying the Pats' feeble D twice a year! That Manning-Brady rivalry will play a huge role in his decision I believe. That alone would be great for the NFL.

I dont think he plays anywhere for a severe discount and the only real advantage we have is he has a home here but ith the money he has , he probably has like 5 of them. I dont agree that Miami gives him any better chance to win than many of the other teams that are competing for his services.

I voted "Other Team"

Fat Andy Reid will replace michael vick with manning hoping to win a championship.

- or -

Bill Belichick will sign him as Brady's back up.

Peyton would have to be pretty badly still rehabbing to be Brady's back up. If they ever competed straight up for a job, Tommy boy would have to learn how to hold a clipboard for an entire game.

Out of the top 5-7 teams that could make a push for him (Miami, Washington, Seattle, Denver, Arizona, and the Jests), I say the Dolphins offer him the better weapons. Not one of those other teams had a 1000+ yard rusher AND a 1200+ yard receiver. Possibly add his sidekick Wayne into the mix, and we could easily be a top 10 offense...or better!

First off comparing Manning to another qb is apples to oranges. When respected people around the league talk abbott Mannjng they use terms like smartest qb to ever play the game. Not only is he elite, he is a prodigy! You seem to forget before his surgery he damn near won another Superbowl! That same offense without him wouldn't light up half the teams in the sec. So yeah puff P. Manning has input you listen! Especially when you are a gm entering your fifth year and still rebuilding.

A bet on manning and where he will sign would be interesting but I dont think anything is close to clearcut now. I think it will come down to money and not sure we will have enough.
"IF" Peyton is about the $$$,then Snyder will make sure that he'll be a Hawg. All you Guys know, that Snyder is all about whose wallet is fattest!!!
