Here's my list thru Tannehill right now. Where would you place him?

1. Aaron Rodgers
2. Tom Brady
3. Big Ben
4 . Drew Brees
5. Peyton Manning
6. Andrew Luck
7. Tony Romo
8. Philip Rivers
9. Russell Wilson
10. john beck
11. Eli Manning
12. Joe Flacco
13. Ryan Tannehill

Lucky #13. Its debatable obviously but this is where I have him right now. Tbh I'd probably take him over Flacco or Eli right now, but those guys have had big time playoff success, so I'd like to see more from Tannehill before I put him in the top 10. I think he'll break into the top 7 or 8 by the end of next year.

Lol Jon Beck is the Falcons QB? Why, finheaven?

John Beck????

I think somewhere between 10-15 is about right.

M@tt Ryan is automatically changed to Beck. Kinda stupid but whatever.

i think around 12 is fair

anyone who doesnt have Rodgers at #1 needs to give up on discussions like this

I think I would move Russell Wilson up to around #5. He is much better than his stats. He knows when to run for first downs...he rarely makes bad mistakes or turnovers. I love Tannehill but I think the Seahawks got Wilson in the same draft in round THREE. I think Wilson will lead them to another SB victory this year.

I think that's fair

Top tier for me is: Rodgers Brady manning Brees and Big Ben.
Second group is: luck rivers and romo in whatever order
Ryan after that is fair.
Than it becomes a bit of a mish mash with flacco Eli tanny and Wilson.

I'd have tanny in the 12-13 range which is fine for an ascending 3rd year qb

Wilson ain't all that. He got a top line and a beast RB. Plus a top elite defence.

Tier one:
Aaron Rodgers
Tom Brady
Peyton Manning
Drew Brees

Tier two:
Ben Roethlisberger
Tony Romo
Philip Rivers
Russell Wilson
Andrew Luck

Tier three:
Joe Flacco
Eli Manning
Colin Kaepernick
Melt Ryan
Andy Dalton

Tier four:
Matthew Stafford
Alex Smith
Nick Foles
Ryan Tannehill

So 15ish range.

So he's about 10 spots higher in ranking than philbin would be if you were ranking coaches?

Wilson has under 1,300 attempts in three years. He just does not have the body of work to move up in that list. He knows how to win with the system Carroll instituted, but I have never seen him carry his team. Just not convinced he should be moved up in the list. I am fine with his current ranking.

@roy_miami. What is your reason for placing Tannehill in the fourth tier instead of the third tier?

Deflection of blame of philbin. The more he can hold down the qb, the less blame can be attributed to philbin.

Those guys have all won playoff games with the exception of Dalton. I could have put Dalton in tier 4, but what fun would that be?

Sorry can't take your ranking serious with Dalton ahead of RT.

strongly disagree. take the line and lynch away then lets see. we will find out when lynch is gone

Wilson's a good QB and belongs in the discussion of good QBs. I draw the line at the people who compare him to Aaron Rodgers. Those people are nuts.

12-13 sounds about right to me. He's not in the same class as Tony Romo or Melty yet, but we also shouldn't cast him down with the Daltons and Kaepernicks of the world.
