Where would you rank the Dolphins offseason so far?

i think we had a Really good Offseason
I doubt you would say the same thing if you were a Bills Jets or Pats fan.

I think the draft will be a huge part of our team getting better.

I would say we are in the 26-30 range

yea we deserve our ranking and like another said it may be quite generous.

Maybe, but there were a few suspicious jumps in the ratings, such as the Rams, Raiders, and Jests, since the "San Francisco 49ers, [after] throwing millions at cornerback Nate Clements, defensive tackle Aubrayo Franklin, safety Michael Lewis, outside linebacker Tully Banta-Cain and wideout Ashley Lelie..., backslid to a 5-11 season that led to coach Mike Nolan being stripped of his GM responsibilities, and nearly his coaching duties as well."
And then there's my "please, please, please be true" moment: "Could Herm Edwards be angling for Matt Ryan to buy himself some more time to rebuild?" Yes, Mr. Edwards, please move up to take Ryan!

I like Ryan but am more than willing to trade the top pick because no matter who the best player is in the draft we can get alot better team by trading. I wish we had traded down last year but it always seems harder to do than we think.

Basically the 49ers signed the one big money contract which in current market is about the same as Samuel actually a little less. Lelie was a about 2 mill a year, Franklin 2 mill a piece,

Michael Lewis signed a 6 year 30 million dollar contract 9 mill in guarantees
Tull Bunta Cain 3 years 8.7 million.

I think too many have dumped on the niners for this season. They payed Clements what franchise CB's are now going for unfortunately and no other signing was really outrageous. Lewis is a top level saftey and he is not making much more than alot of mediocre players are making this year.
It would have been the same as dumping on Philly for signing Samuel this year.

this guy sucked at this crap he basically said nothing about what we got and didnt even list one person freakin horrible..

I like Ryan as well, just not at #1, as I think the 'Phins have more obvious needs and am not wholly convinced he's as significant an upgrade over what they already have as another player at a different position might be.

Thats why I advocate taking Jake long, but those that talk about needs should shun Cris long as much because we have much bigger needs also.
I do think Ryan is a significant upgrade on Beck just as much as he on Chad Henne but thats my opinion.

I would definitely rank our offseason as being about mid of the pack, but at the stage our franchise is in right now it wouldnt have been good for us to go out and sign some over paid veteran when we should be stocking up on good young talent so that we can be good for many years to come, which is what the tuna is and has been doing. The draft will also be a key part to our offseason as someone has stated higher in the thread.
