hello fellas, my favorite group of people

i was just wondering, why are all these fan based demands for offense, in my eyes, WE ARE FINE on that side of the ball. no one can sack culpepper anyways hes bigger then most lineman, anyways...

i want some D, our linebackers are aging besides channing, our secondary looks a little depleted andd to top it off our dline is older than my families history, just wanna hear what you guys think about our defense.

Tank Williams and Shulters in the secondary sounds great to me.

ur right...it doesnt look to strong right now. We need a cb that can cover man to man. I was so tired of R. Howard getting beat all the time!
 
I think we get D in the draft and get younger at the same time. Saban still has the inside scoop on alot of these guys from his days at LSU. I'm sure he can find some diamonds in the ruff.
 
We are not as old as people make us out to be on D.

Daniels, Tillman, Crowder, Spragan, Roth, Manny Wright,Poole, Bell and hopefully Arrignton.
 
i hope we sign lavar arrington if not welcome chad greenway

Don't forget KC's favorite guy Vickerson. We just signed 2 new guys both fairly young for depth. I agree we go D in the draft. I'd expect 1st day picks to be D unless Cutler or a top WR falls into our lap. I"d also look for us to do some trading down to pick up picks. I can't see Saban not having more than 3 picks through the first 6 rds. You also have to keep in mind this draft class already includes Culpepper and Wright. Not a bad start!!
 
the draft will be when we foucus on our d we need to get younger there not sign old fa's
 
I really believe that Saban will get Schulters re-signed and bring in the Law. Townsend and Tank, all for the right price. If not Law than the rest.The draft will answer this question. jnobes7 have patience, Saban will get the job done.

I'd personally love to know what you call fine....

First off our biggest emergency need is on offense.
We have no QB to back up Culpepper.
Why would a back up QB be so important you ask?
Maybe because there is a good chance that Culpepper will NOT be able to start the season. You willing to tank the first 4 games and expect to make the playoffs?

Secondly, we are very thin on OL.
We could use a T IMO very badly. Tom Ashworth should be our second priority after backup QB. Ashworth would allow us to move Carey inside to guard and Hadnot to C allowing us to get rid of McKinney without any problems.

Not to mention that the first 2 acquisitions we in made FA were on Defense.
 
Ashworth will be signing with TB if we do anymore lollygaggin.

As fans we have to be patient and put the job of rebuilding this team into Sabans hands, so far the man has almost single handedly brought us back to respectability in a matter of months. I know all the real dolfans remember and dread the days of 4-12 which was caused greatly by our FO rushing to overpay and overcompensate other franchises for free agents and players that never panned out for our franchise. Yeah i wanted C.Hope along with some more O-line help but Saban may have not seen Hope as a fit with what he's trying to do with our franchise so be patient and allow Saban and Mueller to work. Who would know our weaknesses better than Saban and Mueller, think about it, this is not Madden. We have to build for not only this year but every year after that so we can remain on top. Remember New England's success happened thru a stage where they were patient and rebuilt quietly but efficiently and we all know how that story ended so support any FA pickups and signings even the releases cause im convinced Saban's got it all planned out.
