Where's the Jake Long analysis on ESPN?

OK, so I missed the pre-draft coverage and only settled in right at 3 p.m., but my gawd!!! They STILL haven't talked about Long since Goodell announced it. No interview, no film, no analysis. 33 minutes later.

When has there ever been a first overall pick with NO FILM or discussion afterward, and a network goes and moves right on to the No. 2 pick?

Man, do I wish I had the NFL network here at work. No luck.

Look, I realize the guy will be discussed quite a bit the next 6-7 hours, but many people tuned right in when they knew the pick was being made. And the main sports network just glossed right over it.

Kinda lame.

Sorry Press coverage I think you missed it. They did a highlight reel and analysis of Jake, right before the draft started and goddell walked up to the podium.

NFL Network did a few minutes on Jake like with any other pick.

BUT......I can't get on ESPN too much. Jake signed on Tuesday. They did 4 days on Jake, with all of the stuff going on between picks 2-6 I can't blame them for not doing anything on Jake.

honestly, i have been toggling back and forth between espn and NFL network
and i have not been overly joyed at eithers coverage.

i am mostly on nfln because espn has so much graphic crap on there screen
it is overkill.

mayock anoys me, and his INSISTANCE that jake is a right tackle only
is getting old also.

Well they have been showing video of Long for a week now. Because of of how early he was chosen he got a tons of coverage over until today.

I cant even watch ESPN because of that idiotic fool Berman..
I turned it on when the raiders were on the clock...then I have to hear that tool...say...( AND THE RAAAIDERS ARE ON THE CLOCK,,,,,) He makes me soooo ill.....

Its not much better on the NFL network...You have to listen to Sanders interview the draft picks, plus the microphones are acting up every once in a while

Did you check the news on Long on Tuesday, when we all find out he signed a contract to be #1?

ESPN is a tough watch. Young is pompus. Keyshawn is a clown. And Mort is 10 min late on his "breaking news" stealing it from someone else.

Mayock is the BEST IN THE BUSINESS these days. And Rich Eisen is a great host. Faulk and Mooch are level-headed and make sense.
