It's been 2 years since his last Interception and he came up huge in this week's game....I belive that was the momentum changer right there, Sam Madison's interception.....And it came in the redzone when the Bills were driving to score again....

Had he not intercepted that ball, the Bills would've went on to score and eventually win the game...

Give it up for Sam "the man" Madison!

I am very happy for him, but at the same time where has he been the last two years. I mean this guy was a pro bowler. That was the momentum shifter in the game and the start of a monumental come back. I just hope he can do more down the stretch.

He did have a much better day yesterday.

That being said I still remember him missing a couple of tackles in the first half.

I think a lot of us are not as upset with his play. I think he is still a decent corner. Just he is not nearly as good as he once was. He really is declining sharply.

Madison doesnt get the picks because teams dont generally throw in his direction. Even last year, teams went after Surtain more then Madison (i dont think madison is better than surtain btw). But would you throw towards madison when Reggie Howard is on the field somewhere, lol.

Madison is the man, i love that he talks trash the whole game and plays hard.

Hard to give love to a defensive back with 1 INT in 33 games.

Madison's decline has been vastly overrated on here. He isn't what he used to be but he's still been way more solid then people think. He coulsd never tackle, which is why I could never understand the surprise and criticism when he missed a tackle, and still isn't much in the run game but he can still cover. How often do we even see or here from him throughout the course of a game. Teams still avoid going his way if they can. Losamn should have in that situation.

What about Travis Daniels. He got beat early but instead of hanging his head and letting it snowball, which lots of rookies could have let happen, he plugged on and had some key breakups later on in the game. My hats off to the rook.

Sigh, and then there's Reggie Howard.

...exactly. He's a pretty good cover corner, but aside from a once in a blue moon, although crucial INT... you just can't rely on him to make a tackle.

He was an elite CB

Now he is a good CB.

The only problem that the Fins might have with Sam is that he is still being paid as an elite CB.

The one thing you can't do in today's NFL is overpay for players.

Sam has fallen off the last few years...he is still adequate but not the d-back he once was. I also think that he fumbled the ball after his INT yesterday as he forgot there was a guy right behind him after he made the pick. Madison got hammered and it looked like he fumbled it but luckily it wasn't challenged. I think we are going to need to draft some new d-backs....Howard and Madison are big question marks.

If Sam Madison does not make that interception, we do not come back. It's as simple as that. It was 23-3 and they were in position to at least put up 3 points.

Sam deserves credit for his play in this game. I have felt for some time that he is on the downside of his carrer and should be moved in the offseson, but he deserves credit for a well played game. Maby it has just taken time to adjust to the new D.

End of story. I'd keep him around if he took a massive paycut. But one game isn't going to erase his slide over the last few years. I don't even care about the lack of INTs. If he could just make a freakin tackle, I'd be happy
