Where's the splash? Where's the excitement... = Empty stadium

You'll get your splash and excitement when we start winning games!

yeah again really doesn't matter what you do till you start winning. Only way I see a coach causing a huge buzz is if you could convince Don Shula to come out of retirement.

But hey get a young QB in and there will be a buzz. Even during the 1-15 year before Beck got into a game. I remember listening to radio feeds and through the radio you could hear our crowd chanting "We Want Beck"

Winning games is what is going to put fans in the seats. I love how people are already giving up on coaches before they are even hired.

I think Gruden or Cowher would have created an excitement. Fisher would not sell tickets but it showed a solid ommittment to getting the best available guy. I think philben would
install some confidence with his success in GB and with qbs'. I think Mccoy although truly a weak canidate based on what he has accomplished so far could be sold as a young exciting guy. The NFL has a fascination with screwing over proven coaches to throw crap against a wall because they are young. I think if they hire Bowles they wont even have fans
anywhere near press conference to be safe that they dont get booed

maybe if we had more out of town fans buying season tickets it would not be empty.

lol.

Who wants to spend thousands of dollars on a mediocre product?

Last season, I spent $5 a month on redzone...

Greatest investment with respect to the NFL I've ever done.

The at home experience with respect to our franchise kicks *** then attending and watching mediocrity in person...

Say what you will about Ross, but you can't say the guy isn't trying to make a "splash."

He went hard for Harbaugh. He went hard for Fisher. Gruden and Cowher clearly aren't ready to coach again.

He's brought in some top-notch free agents.

Not everything has worked out so far, but you can't say the guy isn't trying.

that wasnt directed at out of town fans, it was directed at whiny out of town fans.

I've pretty much given up the crusade.

At least now, I know that I won't have problems getting seats when I fly down for a game ... pretty much any game. :idk:

I've gone down there like 12 times and have always had my choice of seats. Let's not act like they're the Red Sox

A good coach will make a difference ... but I reckon Vegas will peg our Over/Under at around 8 next year, no matter which coach ... and that's mostly due to our Schedule & Moore having some QB ability.

Any Splashes are going to have to come from Ireland ... he's in the driver's seat ... to get more victories, we need alot more talent & ESPECIALLY a QB!!

A little tough for us to compete for a Coach with teams that have talent in place ... we have to find a good coach who isn't lured away by talent or personal issues (i.e. Harbaugh liked the West Coast & SF's talent more than us .. Fisher like the QB.).

I don't care about splash, I want to WIN. Maybe Im blind but we got some pretty good talent. IF Matt Moore can atleast play like he did we can win some ball games. EVERY team is a product of their QB. Definately gotta try getting a top rookie QB, and if we get lucky one of these coaches are gonna look good. Other teams are interviewing the same canidates we are, so we arent the only fools. Strike gold on a QB and most coaches look great.
