I thought he was a monster in the center, is he still injured? Last I heard they let him go, did they re-sign him?

He failed his physical and we let him go.

Possibly one of the stupidest releases we have made. This is a young kid with a bright future.

I'm guessing his injury is a lot more serious than people think, perhaps career ending. He has talent, but there's a reason he is still unemployed.

I was really hoping that Ball would be the end to our Center question, but it seems the failed physical was pretty bad. NFL.com and ESPN do not list him on the current players list, and I can't find any reference to him after Miami released him in November. Add to that the fact that Houck was the one who released him last year, and it certainly looks like he's done, at least for a while.

Shame, I had high hopes when we picked him up.

Yeah, there must be a reason he's still out there...and Houck did release him, but Houck is also the one who made the kid into a decent player who started a bunch of games for him at C.

I hope he gets another look; I like the kid's nastiness and motor.
