is there any coaches you guys that think need to be replaced ? I can think of 4 coaches that should go but it isnt up to me , yet its clear that 4 assistants should get the axe.

first and foremost is Dan Henning this guys makes Mike Milarkey look like a genious. he must go or else we will repeat our same ole woes.

I think runningback coach should be replaced buy Bernie Parmalee who i think can get Ricky on track despite his succsess.

I think wr coach should absolutely get shown the door.

I am on the fense with the tightends coach .

on defense we really need to upgrade the linebackers production so a new linebacker s coach should be considered.

but is there anyone that really catches your attention as to whos should go ?

Dan Henning is likely going to retire. He was originally planning to call it quits after the 2008 season but decided to come back for one more year. I believe that David Lee will be promoted to OC next year and they will hire a new quarterbacks coach(Pennington perhaps?)

I think there is a chance that Pasqualoni could be replaced as defensive coordinator. If he is indeed let go, Todd Bowles would be in line for a promotion, or perhaps they go outside and hire a guy like Romeo Crennel.

As for the rest of the staff? I see no need for any change.

i said this earlier today and people totally shut down that idea, i dont understand why people think it is not possible.

I wonder if we're the only fan forum that has "which coaches need to be replaced?" threads after a very important win...

id be surprised if there are any forums that dont.

there are always things that can be fixed.

plus, looking to the future is a staple at finheaven.

People should not have shut you down on that idea, because it makes the most sense. He is an innovative mind and has always been an OC in training. If Henning leaves and they pass over Lee, they may in fact just lose Lee to another team.

Then ask yourself, was there room for improvement today? A ton. The end around to Bess was just foolishness, and this isn't the first time the coaching staff has laid a big egg in the 2nd half. The offense failed to produce any points after the 2nd quarter and coaching can be attributed to some of that.

Absolutely, but it had little to do with the coaching. The end around was hardly foolishness. It only became "foolish" when it was fumbled. What did that have to do with the play call? Nothing. That was on the defensive player making a good play on the ball.

It's easy to second guess the coaching decisions every time something goes wrong. You can do that with every single coach in the game. This is still a young, building team. Games are going to continue to be close for the rest of the year, guaranteed.

Glass half empty is this kind of post.... We're almost in the playoffs and we're criticizing our coaches.... Too bad our coaches couldn't ask for bad posts be fired from posting on this site....lol

The sooner we see Dan Henning replace Sherm Lewis calling Bingo Numbers at the retirement home the sooner our offense explodes!

Just for the record Dallas fans are raising hell with the pathetic press conference by Wade Phillips . lOok there is no reason to raise hell with fans that dont drink the kool aid because this team isnt really that good and some around here know it.

good playoff teams beat a occasionaly good team and we got beat by the freakin Bills and nearly got beat by the pathetic Tampa Bacy buccs. I will grant you that we played well against the saints and in the first jets game but realisticaly we may not even make the playoffs if the jets , pats and Ravens keep playing well.

its not a bad thing to see the need for improvement .

I think its based on speculation that we actually are underachieving this year by believing we should have won against the Colts, Saints, and Bills. There is always room to improve, and look to get better for the future.

What does that have to do with anything? They should raise hell. That team, a talented team that should be a super bowl contender, is losing in December AGAIN. It's not even remotely similar to our situation. Our coaching staff is getting a legitimate playoff opportunity out of a team 1 year removed from a 1-15 season with key injuries, a first time starting QB, rookie starting CBs, a 32 year old RB, and lackluster WR's, safties, and linebackers. How is wanting a little stability in the staff "drinking the koolaid" (the most retarded, overused statement for anybody that doesn't whine on a constant basis)?

The answer to solving the teams problems isn't a constant rotation in the staff. That's how you become the raiders or bucs.

Pasqualoni is far from perfect, but I think a lot of his defense's failures have more to do with poor personnel than bad play calling. We're starting 2 rookies at CB and have 2 glorified LBs playing safety. There's no way you can have a good pass defense under those circumstances.

The offense's occasional struggles can be put more on Henning's shoulders. While we don't have dominant talent on offense, we have identifiable strengths that should be leaned on. The excessive trickery is not only unproductive, but has been costly to us, leading to two turnovers that I can recall off the top of my head. Sparano called about half the plays in Dallas, so I think him and Lee could be an effective duo much like how Sparano worked with Jason Garret. I'm not radically against Dan Henning, but he needs to be kept on a much shorter leash regarding his reliance on trick plays.
