Has there ever been a punter who has ever made a teams HOF ? Maybe Geoge Blanda for the Raiders who was an excellent QB as well as a punter ? I dont know .Can anyone answer that question ?

Blanda was a punter, QB and a kicker for extra points and field goals. I also think at one time he held the record for the oldest player to ever be active on an NFL roster, something like 45 or 48 years old if I remember correctly

Reggie Roby was an awsome punter his kicks were unbelieveably high. I think one time he hit a cross beam in one of the domed stadiums and at the time he was the only one who had ever done that. Wish someone could refresh my memory on that because I just remember it vaguely. Irregardless he was a great punter and was proud to be a Dolphin.

thomas and taylor are locks. if culpepper wins a super bowl, he'll be there. i think brown will be there one day, and chambers can make a run. and manny wright!

I hate to play devil's advocate, but I wouldn't say they're locks by any means. Good possibilities is probably the best you can go with...Those 2 are the only 2 logical choices on the team as of now, but that could very well change by the end of some of these guys' careers.

Nope. Only one kicker in the HOF and no punters. There's this sports writer, I can't remember who, every year he talks about putting Ray Guy (punter for the raiders I think) in the Hall. The guy was a monster, supposedly punted the ball 93 yards once.

The Dolphins' best players of this era have been Jason Taylor, Zach Thomas, and both go in the Dolphins' Ring of Honor eventually S The only one with an outside NFL HOF shot is Taylor, but he'll need to play at least five more years, make three or four more Pro Bowls, and total in excess of 50 or 60 more sacks. Plus the Dolphins must win a Super Bowl at some point.

CC has a lot to prove yet as does Mc Mike and RB .Culpepper has not played a down yet.I doubt Ricky gets in.

I'm not sure Zach or JT are locks either.
They are great players but I don't think you could put them in a group of best players ever as of yet.
The ring of honor should be for Dolphins that would be the best on any team in any era. Just my opinion.

Chambers has a long way to go before getting that kind of consideration.

Personally, while I love both Zach and JT I have to pass at this moment.
I don't think we have anyone on our roster at this point that deserves ROH
