The Miami Dolphins are mired in rumors this weekend — as the word spreads that the team is, as the Miami Herald worded it, “open for business“. The team is reportedly gauging interest across the league in several of their veteran players — a renewed push for assets as the team continues to build their team with an eye towards the 2020 NFL Draft and beyond. Some of the names rumored to be “on the block”? Wide receiver Kenny Stills, linebacker Kiko Alonso, linebacker Raekwon McMillan and safety Reshad Jones.

Which begs the question: which of these available players would yield the highest return for Miami? The Dolphins would obviously get a booming return for offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil, who teams have come calling on. But the Dolphins are effectively telling the NFL they’re not interested in trading the young left tackle — who will serve as one of the team’s cornerstone players for years to come.

Tunsil would get the most in return but I would hate to lose him. The others I would be happy to trade away. We won’t be lucky enough for anyone to fall for the fools gold of Reshad Jones.

None of them.

Late preseason trades for high picks only happen in roto-league or if a player is holding out.

I don’t think stills would net anything because of kneeling and all that drama ..unless gase comes calling.

John Denney is a proven PRO.

With HGH he could last another 10.

Could fetch an R7 for him. IMO.

Tunsil would get the highest yield. But he’s also the most indespenable.

So I would say Reshad is the most logical? Maybe have to eat some of his money but teams like the Chargers would really want an athlete like that in their secondary in the short term, and we’d get a good price for it without having a huge drop off in the talent. Not saying reshad is easily replaceable, but that position has to be lower on the radar considering our holes in the roster

Why the hate for Kenny Stills? He is a great teammate, a deep threat and very reliable (not injured often)
Don't mix his play on the field with his personal conviction.

Its not hate for Stills, I like him as a player. I do not like distractions however....never will.

Ask yourself does this happen with the Pats? Would Shula have allowed it?

Tunsil nets the most but he should be a part of the core of players going forward. Stills is the best WR on the team. You’re not taking weapons from Rosen. I doubt anyone takes on Jones’ contract. Mcmillan probably nets the most. Slim pickings on this roster.

Unless a team is desperate we won't get more than a late round pick for any of them because of their contracts.

Keep in mind a lot of teams want to trade older players for picks too so that lowers the market when you're trying to sell.

Sorry, but that all goes hand in hand. Kenny himself has already mixed his politics with his play. This kind of stuff will help kill this game eventually. The game is being neutered in all direction, its going to be glorified flag football within 5 years. Fans are getting turned off from these sissy rules (me included) and rediculous salaries. Gambling is comming to pro sports. You don't think the Raiders were just magicaly handed to las vegas do you? We are seeing the end of the nfl as we have all known and loved.

And locker rooms are being divided by politics, don't be naive about that one bit!! It all goes hand in hand. We havnt won ANYTHING of great import with or without stills. Politics or not, He IS replaceable, he is not a randy moss caliber wr. And if someone does want him and his politics, they won't be giving up a big pic for him. At most, a DESPERATE team wouldnt give up anything higher than a 5th and that would be a team who lost wr's and are a contender. Finz are looking for as many pics as they can get and for me, a 6th would do it. Many teams would like his talent but don't want his politics. Those are just FACTS, weather we all agree with it or not.

Stills' production doesn't match his salary. Much like Landry. The question wasn't if Landry was a good player. He was a very good player. However, he insisted on being paid like a top 5 receiver.

Between Stills being overpaid, criticizing the guy who signs his pay checks (never a smart thing to do), & the fact that we have decent WR's who will make the team if Stills is gone makes him a short timer on this team.
