Which expert do you listen too? Brandt or Kiper?

Gil Brandt hands down -

He does not grand stand therefore he is overlooked -

I have mentioned before that he was excited about Paul Solai as great developmental player - and early second day pick - and Solai went second day and was a project but has turned the corner - but this is just one example of Gil's ability to see talent

According to Brandt WSH gave up too much - I agree

There are more factors than simply skill when giving up all those first rd draft picks like - who the heck is gonna block for RG3? RG3 is gonna get snapped like a twig series after series he will run for his life against guys who match his speed - we may never see his full potential WSH made a big big booboo when they gave up so much for RG3

I like Mayock and Brandt the best, though I think Casserly is pretty good too. Kiper definitely ranks lower on my list. Has anyone ever gone back and looked at past draft analysis by all the "experts" and seen who tends to be the most accurate?

Yep, I already made reference to this in another thread this morning.

Kiper is an idiot. Have zero idea why he's still on TV...oh yeah. cause its BSPN.....

EDIT: Looks like you're now "Nailin Palin" there Vaark???

She probably cannot get enough of your snout...into Palin up to your eye balls? :chuckle:

I'm also lancing Nancy.. perhaps I should put PS some duct tape over both their mouths to make it purrrfect, eh?

Nailin Palin..I could understand..fine looking lady.

Plundering Pelosi? Damm...that is nasty.

I don't put a whole lot of stock in any of these guys, but Casserly & Kiper tend to annoy me. People give Mayok a hard time for hating on Cam Newton, but Casserly went on and on about Cam being a "project" & that he wouldn't take him in the first round, also said there was "no comparison" between him and Blaine Gabbert, indicating Gabbert was far superior.

I find McShay, & Mayock are just easier to listen to for me, which is why I watch the draft on NFLN, rather than ESPN, & have to listen to Kiper for X amount of hours. I'd personally love it if NFLN could trade Casserly for McShay. No offense to Marshall Faulk, or Micheal Irvin, but they don't study all the prospects in the way that Mayock or those people do. Rich Eisen, Mike Mayock, and McShay would be a pretty good trio for calling the draft for me personally, solely on listen-ability.

Here's Casserly & Mayock hating on Cam

carolina was 12-4 in 08, 8-8 in 09, then 2-14 in 10, so they had talent on the team but had a bad yr. they draft cam and they go 6-10 in his first yr. vince young looked great his first time playing and now look where his is. teams will figure out how to play him and he will make more mistakes. he threw 21 td and 17 int not exactly great. i can see why they were hating on cam.

I listen to them all, but just like anyone else there opinion means little! They really don't have much at stake!

I like kiper cause he has been doing this for 20 years and he actually does a lot of research. What he is saying about Tannehill is probably what lots of scouts are saying.

Why does Mel Kiper have clout again?

Go back and review his predictions. He is a babbling idiot. The only reason he gets play time is because he is an animated buffoon that looks like a cartoon character.

EDIT: No how no way is Tannehill a good pick at 8.

:chuckle:

I like ckparrothead.

Somebody put him in front of a camera.

If I had to choose, I like Mike Mayock.

Hands down Rick Gosselin is the best; he no longer doing a complete mock due to job promotion. His column in the Dallas News is mandatory reading.
