A post on another thread got me thinking about this...actually I have been for a little while.
Which is more important for you as a fan? To have the perfect season preserved or to have our Phins win the division THIS year and go into the playoffs again?
I bring this up because NE needs to play INDY and NO, and is probably the best chance at either of those teams losing. But if NE wins one or both of those games, it significantly reduces our chances of winning the division over the Pats.
So if it really came down to it - which would you rather have? NE beats INDY/NO to preserve the perfect season but beats us by one game for the division, or loses to INDY/NO allowing us to win the division and head to the playoffs, while allowing INDY or NO to finish undefeated (assume all the way to a championship)?
