I've been hearing a lot that the Miami Dolphins can never truly compete for a championship because they just don't have the talent. So I thought to myself which Dolphin would start on any team?

Here's my List:

Jake Long (the few spots with "better" left tackles, he'd start at right)

Honorable mention:

Ronnie Brown (i think ronnie would get starter type snaps on any team)
Joey Porter & Jason Taylor (would see starter type snaps as well)

I want to add Grove to the mix but Peyton & Saturday have to much history

But the way Grove has played this year I think you can make an argument he is at least in the top 5 of all Centers

I honestly don't think we have one player who would be a gauranteed lock to start
on every team in the NFL.

Well, thinking for the World Champ Steelers:

Jake Long for sure, Ronnie Brown for sure. Maybe Sean Smith or V.Davis, William Gay isnt all that great. But thats it, Ginn wouldnt even be their #3 receiver....lol.

ronnie.... lol at the joey porter guy he is no for sure starter on a lot of teams

What team does have a lot of players that would start on every other team? None, lets take the Pats for example:

Moss - He wouldn't be a number 1 on every other team but he would start.
Welker - I'm not sure he starts on the Saints but problably would so I'll throw him in there.
Thats it because Brady wouldn't start over Manning or Brees on those two teams. It's not even a matter of who's better it's just a matter of those two are happy (obviously) with their QB's
I'm not sure he would even start over Big Ben in Pittsburgh now that I think about it.

The WR spot is kind of debatable for this discussion anyway because #1 on some teams might not be #1 on others but would still start.
Corners would carry the same argument.

I think if you went team by team you would find it hard to find any team with more then 3 players that could start on any team.

To be honest I think this question is flawed. If you really think about it A. Peterson is probably the only player in the league that could be offered straight up for another player at the same position and all 31 other teams would take that deal. I find it hard to think of another player.

I know he wouldnt start for some teams but i think cameron wake is just an animal. Every snap he plays hes just exploding around the edge. cant wait till hes starting. Idk if u remember the first snap he played vs the saints but he almost got to brees in about 2 seconds.
