A-Rey Maulagua of University of Southern California(6'3",240,4.65)

B-James Laurinitius of Ohio State University(6'4",245,4.6)

(Personally, i would have James here, but you can't go wrong with either)

i doubt we'll get either of them, we'll probably draft one late in the 1st day or early 2nd day this year

I was happy James L. went back for his senior year, that means 2 stud MLB would be in the draft.

both of these guys would be top 15 picks this year.

and lets face it, we are probably looking at a top 10 pick next year.

I'd take Mauler of James but be more then happy to see either one in a fins uni in 09'

james laurinatis for sure. i could see us trying to get one, even though we will get one this year. we will play two MLB's in a 3-4

I'm a Rey lean myself.

I'll wait till the 08 season to decide which is better.

Both, haha...it could happen. But Rey, Rey all the way. We need to get nasty, he reminds me of the "Elder" Ray (Lewis). Fire and passion for the game that I'll probably will pass on through the whole organization. Ray won one with his passion, and this Rey...I think he's the type of emotional leader that can carry a defense and team.

philip wheeler or curtis lofton.....in the 2008 draft.

Check out Erin Henderson. He's a OLB people say should be a MLB. Imagine is speed and finesse, with lets say Jeremiah Trotter (trade for) this year and Rey M (USC) next year. We'd have a run stopping ILB and a coverage one too. :kick:

are you saying trade for jeremiah trotter?

Can We Please Focus On The 2008 Draft And Not 2009 Until 2009?

lol... what good does it do us fans to focus on the 2008 draft? I mean, I can't wait till draft day 2008, but I can't wait till draft day 2009 either, by then we should be even further along the comeback trail...

Obviously the front office is focusing on 2008, but why should we have to?! Looking ahead is fun... nice change of pace from every other post here about Long/Dorsey.

heres another question, is crowder ever going to break out?

and if he doesn't, what does parcells do with him?

than we have two holes to fill, if ZT is a goner.

between those 2, Rey is more NFL ready. Little Animal is good, but he cannot shed a block to save his life.
