Iono man, I think in the end the 04 line will be clearly worse . . . but as of right now, both of them are terrible. I think the run blocking is worse and the pass blocking is about even to worse.
 
I think the run blocking this year was worse than in 2004... but the pass pro is better.
 
Watching games in 2004 was ridiculous. That might have been the worst OL of all time. Any one remember the Cincinnati game?

Oh I remember that, I was about to shoot myself there was so many freaking penalties.
 
2004 without a doubt. As bad as we've played this year, there is still a ton of time for improvement. Remember our linr struggled until the middle of last seaso too, and it just picked up nicely. Hope it does the same this year!!!

i'll have to agree with a lot of the people here. 2004 was plain bad. 2006 is basically the same line as last year. the problem was that daunte was forced to be a pocket passer, which he's not, and held on too long. except for the two int's, joey did alright. brown just needs needs to use that big body and bruise people up and stop dancing in the backfield. we still have basically the same o-line as last year with the same coach and we were tied for the least sacks allowed last year.
 
03s run blocking was worse then either. 06s run blocking is worse then 04s. 04s pass blocking was the worst ive ever seen.

i think 03s line was worse all around then this years line.
 
the 04 line seemd to very bad mentally. they continually couldn't pick up blitzes or were missing assignments. still too early to tell. maybe we make a dramatic turnaround these last 11 games and we are singing the lines praises come january.
