Since there's such a huge divide among us fans on whether he's the guy or not, I'm curious to know what game was the game that you finally gave up and said he's not the guy or if you still believe in him which game were you like this guy is the future? I expect most logical replies should be with starts #17 through #60, since his first 16 starts were his rookie season obviously where it's usually hard to say whether a QB has it or not.

Before this season I thought this would be the year with Tannehill. He had a nice 27td and 12int season last year and I was expecting 35+ TDs and 10-15 ints.

I would say this years game vs Jacksonville is when I jumped off the Tannehill bandwagon. So start #50. He had a nice game particularly in the 1st half. But when the game got tight he shriveled up. The defense constantly got Tannehill the ball in a tie game for basically two qtrs and he couldn't lead Miami to a single point. Very disappointing.

I think this year has been a big problem from multiple angles. Tannehill has not helped but alot of it is due to coaches, bad defense, and a bad oline. So alot of the stuff happening wont be fixed until next year hopefully and we can get guards who can actually block and he has time to actually look to throw the ball without being skiddish and making an errant throw.

In all honesty, there hasn't been a single game to define how I feel.

Probably the fact that the dude continues to take the hits that he does all the while never complaining, never throwing anyone under the bus for it, just getting up and back to the line. Call it a judge of character. You can't hate someone after seeing the beating they constantly take like that, at least I can't.

No one is talking about hating anyone. Agreed multiple games he takes hits where you wonder how much more he can take. 60 straight starts with these horrendous lines is impressive. No denying that.

After the San Diego and Denver games last year I had high hopes for the guy. He was SHARP and impressive with his mobility, looked like a bonafide franchise QB.... And truthfully I think about those games when he plays poorly. I think to myself and say what if he leaves, gets with the right coaches and performs like that on a more consistent basis? We'd OFFICIALLY be the most cursed franchise in the NFL

I think that San Diego game was probably one of the best if not the best games in his career. Didn't he have a near perfect rating that game?

Tannehill is a tough sob, no doubt. Wish I could see him well coached with an above average line for an accurate guage. No one particular game stands out but his entire career I see a guy who fades in the pocket when it crashes, usually every 3rd and whatever and too few big plays. I see Wilson do something every game, even Winston on occasion but I just don't see a self induced spark with Tannehill. I hope I'm wrong in year 5 cause I really like him but I just don't see a star.

I have not given up on him, it is easier and less painful for the origination if he is able to lead this team, what I do want is the FO to spend some money and or draft picks on a QB to compete and groom which I have been calling for for 2 yrs......to answer your question, my first disappointment was the final two games of 2013 season when one win puts us in the playoffs and he scores 1 TD total for both games and looked awful, the game against buffalo was very windy but he couldn't make a play, I though he would bounce back the last week at home against the Jets and he was just as bad....I chalked it up as him being young and hoped he learned from it, the following yr he couldn't put GB or Detroit away by picking up a couple of first downs to end the game, instead 3 and out, and they marched down the field for the go ahead score and win the game........I went from RT can be very good, top 10 QB who can lead a team to a guy who can play well if everything around him is perfect and if we can get all the pieces around him it will be hope he doesn't do anything stupid and lose the game for us,

The thing that scares me the most about RT is can he be a leader......I don't think players like him or will follow him, the reason I feel that way is the number of WR who couldn't work with him, one or two guys is one thing but when its all of them thats another.....also how he had to apologize for making fun of the practice squad guys pay checks, notice how no one came to his defense but a LB came to the aid of the practice squad player and what he said after he slapped the ball down was you make the play since you make all the money......no one came to his defense, no Lineman, no WR no TE no RB and the person to apologize wasn't the practice squad guy it was him......imo no one likes him

I thought the whole incident didnt happen?

All of his games have helped me define who he is as a QB. Every last one of them shows me he isn't the QB that will lead you to a championship. He is a tough SOB though, but not enough to lead us to where we need to be.

Why the thumbs down "AllFinsAllDay"? What has he shown you that will lead us to a championship? Damn't I'm tired of these posters that will take the girl cheating on them because she is better than the last girl. Tannehill is an average QB that will not quarterback our team in 2017. He is not the answer at QB. Face it. Damn why is it so hard to see for some posters?

6 of the top 7 threads start with "Tannehill"
Enough already!!

Ozzy rules

Pretty much only the games against the afc east. Especially the bills. The other two make him look bad but buffalo is his biggest issue.

I don't have answer. it all on gm and ross. when it come to thill.
