He's going to be a UFA. (I believe) NE is cheap, I don't think they'll get him back. I wouldn't mind seeing him come to Miami.

I believe ~ half of our team will be free agents, and I get the sense that it wouldn't hurt us to lose most of them. The "filler" the "depth" guys are not only second best at thier primary positions, but our special teams play leaves so much to be desired that the possibility of turning over a quarter of our roster doesn't seem too outlandish.

All I know is Wayne H. said he's going to spend some $$$$$$ this off-season, so im excited to see what he wants to get!!

Didn't Spragan start at OLB? I think it would be hasty to say leave him if we are talking about gambling on a rookie as a replacement. Do we have anybody on the team right now who would win out against Spragan in camp and become the starting OLB? If not, we should consider keeping him. It's not like he was a glaring problem this year.

How many million below?

Sorry what I meant by still tentative is that I'm not projecting numbers for the cap since it doesn't matter until Free Agency begins anyway. The organization is in a significant state of flux right now and we have over 30 free agents. Your guess is as good as mine. I would say somewhere in the $20M - $25M range but I could be wrong.

How many million below?

I think we're 20th or so most favorable? There are a lot of teams out there with better cap space, but a good portion of them never spend money anyway. I don't see us trying to make a huge splash in FA, as there's no one or two guys out there that will suddenly get us into the playoffs (though A. Thomas sure would help!).

$18 million below. I read this on espn.com a couple weeks ago. It will end up being more when they restructure the contracts of Talylor, Thomas, and Chambers then hopefully cut Carter and a couple others to save more money.
