Which players the Miami Dolphins should re-sign or let walk in free agency?

Resign Ogbah. Dude's coming off back to back 9 sack seasons, so he gets home often enough...plus he gets his hands up in the passing lanes and has the pass deflections to show for it.

I think people underestimate the value of the plays broken up by Ogbah from the line - it was 12 passes defended last season. I don’t think another DL comes close.

He has a good disruption rate overall, and plays well enough against the run. If anything, I would rather tag him then Gesicki (and I support bringing back Gesicki on a four year deal with two years in guarantees while we have Tua on the cheap).

I like Ogbah and losing him fills a hole that you need to plug with another high priced FA or high pick that will take time to develop.

I hope we keep Ogbah, also on a four year deal with two big years guaranteed. He will be overpriced but bite the bullet for two years.

Keep ogbah a 3 or 4 year deal with an easy out after year 2 shouldn’t be that hard. A edge rotation of ogbah, phillips, van gink and a cheap free agent like a clelin Ferrell on a short term pact should be enough.

You are gonna bet on Phillips taking a leap in year 2 with his overall play consistency wise especially run d where he was very poor but you were gonna be betting on that anyways.

Dump gesicki. Promote long for one year and reassess after 2022 the position. Just understand in promoting long that his craftiness in the pass game will do more damage if you have someone other than waddle that defenses must account for.

You need Phillips and Holland to take the biggest leaps in year two. Phillips primary and Holland in angles to the football primarily vs the downhill run.

They are both capable of making those leaps.

You still don’t have much of an answer for Josh allen and that’s a serious decade long problem. But it’s not in this class and you won’t find it in free agency either. Doesn’t look like the qb offset is in the cards either.

Ogbah stays he's is in the top 20 free agents and we would be fools to let him go.

Give him a chance in McDaniels offense and he may flourish
