If Saban follows the same pattern as other coaches in the next to last preseason game, he'll keep the starters in there for the entire first half and a series or two into the third quarter.

Is it official that Gus is starting yet? The Miami Herald is the only place that I've seen it stated that he's starting and I'm not sure if they're just assuming he's going to be starting like everyone (including myself) else

You won't get a statement from Saban until just before the game (if then?). According to interviews with Feeley, Gus has taken all the snaps with the first string and Feeley and Sage have worked with the second string guys. Saban is not going to give a straight answer.

Its kinda bizarre huh? I'm not sure if I remember anyone else being so secretive when it comes to a preseason game
