Which Running Back Are we gonna Cut COme June !st

WEll i was thinking we have so many Rb's on our roster that someone will have to get cut soon.

Ronnie Brown
Kay _ jay Harris
Travis Minor
Sammy Morris (i consider him a running back cuz we have Heath Evans And Jamar Martin Fullbacks)
Ricky Williams
Lamar Gordon

My best bet would be Lamar and Kay JAy if he he doesnt have a good preseason

Agreed...but is Saban gonna keep a guy around only for special teams? I just think we could find cheaper STers.

true but can u do me a favor please can u change ur sig cuz u have ur rb number 30 its suppose to be 23 R. Brown not Lamar "Injury Prone" Gordon:)

Cheaper? Minor makes the league minimum.
 
Nobody is going to get cut June 1st. We do have a lot of RBs, but if we cut some now, there will be no competition come TC in July. ALL the RBs will be kept for now, and the first cuts probably won't come until the middle of August.
 
Minor is the least useful one. Kay-Jay impressed so far from the little amount of info we've heard. I doubt Gordon is cut as he's a good proven backup(in St. Louis). Our top two obviously stay. Morris is the backup H-back/goal line runner. Evans is the starting H-Back.

FYI the person in my sig is Fred Russell. RB from Iowa. I do need a new sig. Can someone help?
 
We will not cut any RBs until we get into training camp. Remember that we'll need to carry an extra on the roster through the first month of the season because of Ricky's suspension, which would favor someone like Kay-Jay Harris, who could go to the practice squad once Ricky is activated.

This is crazy ..
Gordon is Ronnie Brown's backup and can also catch, block, and run like Brown...Kay-Jay Harris on the other hand can run but does not have great hands...Minor is kinda too small for a Saban type guy..

Gordon, Morris aren't going anywhere...

Minor will be cut
Harris will go to the practice squad..

I say we keep Minor.

We then trade Morris and Gordon for 3rds next year. If too much to ask for then we trade them for 4ths. I believe Gordon and Morris have value to just cut them. So trade them. Thus giving us hopefully 2 extra 4th's next year which we could use to possibly get a 3rd or something. Leaving us with

Ronnie Brown
Ricky Williams
Travis Minor
Kay Jay Harris are our new RB'S

MarTin and Evans our FB'S
