Which was the most important to you??

1. Miami having a remote chance of making the playoffs still?

2. Being the only franchise in NFL history with an undefeated team?

both. its nice to see INDY lose, because well i hate them. always have.

the playoffs would have been nice as well. but ending the season 9-7, would be awesome nonetheless.

for me it was #2, cause if the colts wouldn't have lost the game today, they would have gone undefeated for sure

It was close, but when Pittsburgh clinched there game I knew that we had an even smaller shot, so I was happy that they lost.

Really, look at how good this team can be. We beat the Chargers last week, which was no fluke. They beat the previously undefeated Colts today.

We are on the verge of something here.

If this team can consistently be good, like all good teams are, we will definately be a team to be reckoned with next year! :dolphins:

The Playoffs go on every year and the biggest Dolfan knows deep down, our Phins won't win it "every year."

But.......

There's only One Perfect Season!!!

Playoffs for me. Records are meant to be broken. Us going to the Playoffs suddenly is rare. Long offeseasons, I hate 'em!

I said the undefeated record but only because the chance of making the playoffs were so slim they practicly didnt exist. As far as I was concerned our playoffs were pretty much dead when the pats won yesterday.

I cant believe the results of this poll........playoffs are MUCH more important......i mean.....indy still would have had to beat the seakawks and three teams in the playoffs.....there was a chance they could still lose........if indy lost this game....there was no shot for us

The 72 dolphins are a great story......wouldnt it have been a great one as well to go from 3-7 to 9-7 and make the playoffs?

I would love to have seen that but even if the Chargers lost today we were still out of the playoffs with Pit. winning today!

I can't wait to see what we do in the offseason this year! Saban has done an incredible job with this team and it is only going to get better!

We didn't quite make it this year but his time next year hopefully we will not only have clinched a playoff spot but wrapped up home field advantage!

The Dolphins are going to be the 2006 AFC East Champions! :dolphins:

My dad is an older Finfan, so he really cherished that record. Me only being 21, I wanted us to get in the playoffs, maybe taking advantage of the record. I also thought they would lose to Seattle anyways next week. I like to look at things in the present in future, moreso than the past. While the record is great, I love playoff atmosphere football during Christmas.
