There are about 5 WR's that COULD be taken in first round, but i happen to think Maclin will slip to the bears, giving us a chance to take the 3rd best WR.

I personally would prefer to draft a CB or LB but I know we need a WR, and when it comes to WR talent, most are snatched in first round and early second.

I wouldn't be upset if we drafted nicks, britt, or hbey.
Meaning i don't want Harvin, Maclin, or Robiskie (in 1st rnd, would <3 in 2nd)

Maclin = Ginn, Harvin isn't the peice we need, and Robiskie does not warrant a 1st round selection.

Percy Harvin because I think he's a guy that has to fit a "system" to have success.

Than there's the fact that he's a Gator so obviously there would be some carry-over for me but Channing Crowder seems to be earning his way into my heart from time to time.

Sorry, but with pressing NT and CB needs, more depth required at LB, plenty of WR gold almost always sprinkled throughout the draft, and a QB for at least 1 more year who lacks the arm to get a game-breaking receiver enough experience, I vote "All of The Above"

I wouldnt be happy if we took any WR in the first round.

That said, DHB is likely to be the biggest bust out of the group you listed. I think he is too raw, he is more of a track star than a football player.

As for Harvin, I am getting tired of the whole "Gator receiver" thing. Back when Spurrier was coach and they were running the fun and gun, tossing the ball up for grabs, yes, Gator receivers had inflated stats. Same with QBs.

Now under Meyer's offense, this is not the case. In fact, I'd argue that Harvin would be MORE of a fit for us than any other team out there. He is fast, a great route runner, great hands, AND would work very well in wildcat formations.

Am I advocating using a high pick on Harvin? Absolutely not. But if he slipped to the late 2nd round I would definitely pull the trigger on him.

I agree with this in that I think all of these guys have a lot of potential to be great NFL receivers (Nicks, Britt or Harvin would be my choice...in that order) but I really don't want to take any of them at #25. I really hope we have the opportunity to move about 5-10 slots back in the draft because it seems that I look at every person we have been really looking at to draft in the first round is a bit of a reach at #25 but they would be real value at 30-35. In a perfect world for me, we would have about 5-6 picks in the 2nd/3rd rounds and move out of the 1st altogether.

I would be happy with Nicks/Britt/Harvin

But when all said and done and that's only MO, Britt is going to be the better pro out of the three, I reminds me of TO without the drama.

Wow...I guess I suck at reading. Didn't catch the "LEAST" part. No wonder Harvin and Robiskie are the lead vote-getters.

To be honest, sometimes this draft business gets a little more complicated than it should be. If you take Jarett Dillard at #25 overall it's on the basis of "Just go out and get a good player. Don't worry about anything else."

I'd be upset if we drafted any WR in the 1st round , bigger needs to be filled with our first 3 picks then Wide Reciever , we can pick up a good WR on the 2nd day if the front office decides we need one .... although i'll admit we'll pick one on the 1st day if the front office decide ....
