this is typical dolphins football where they rip your ****ing heart out in games they arent given much chance to win. This win coupled with a buffalo loss set the stage for Miami to make a run at New England. Now we have injuries to key players and a very short week. Like Cowher says that every week you have to bring your A game especially in November. Losses to GB and Detroit in the fashion we did are just enough to make you puke. Non-conference loss or not, those hurt and bad.

When will Miami ever not be pedestrian and make the leap to the next tier? Tough loss and it feels like steel toe boots in the stomach. Jusrt amazes me how this team loses not the fact they do.

Things will only change when we hire a great head coach. We haven't had one since Don Shula. A great head coach would turn the talent on this team into a consistent winner. Joe is just average. Has proven that with time. The search continues.

I would have bought in if we would have won today. A tough defense has been our achilles heel. They played us tough and we fought for every yard. I saw real progress from Tannehill versus these types of games last year. Then we go out and lose this game the same exact way we lost the games last year, and it just hits home that the combination of Philbin and Tannehill just don't know how to get it done. No matter how much we do in the first 56 minutes, how many spectacular moments and great plays we make, this HC and this QB will choke away a chance to win the game.

56 minutes really made me believe we could have finally turned that corner. It hurts so much to know that we can't until Philbin is fired.

So, if we had won, you guys would have bought in... Philbin could stay... Dolphins would be contenders then huh? What a bunch of crap. And since we didn't win, Philbin must go and we don't stand a chance until he is gone. We lost a tough game on the road against the best defence in all of football and they needed some help from a fricking terrible bunch of zebras. Get on the wagon or jump off. WV has lots of room on his lousy ride...

So if we won there would have been a difference? Umm yeah, there is a difference between winning and losing.

We are the Dolphins. Heartbreakers. Our recent history is an 8-8 level of mediocrity. A win vs. Green Bay and Detroit would have shown we have transported to the next level. We arent there yet, and I believe the playoffs will require a 10-6 record. They HAVE to find a way to get the Bills monkey off their back. I think Denver is another test. Hopefully we take that one.

contenders win that game (contenders dont lose in the last 30 seconds)...contenders win those "tough games on the road"...the dolphins have already shown they have the talent to beat good teams...the problem is coaching

If you are fine with moral victories and 8-8 seasons then please, you pick another team...WV and myself will be happy when we get a coach that knows WTF he is dong...
