Whisenhunt to Interview today!

I'm surprised that a lot of fans seem to be "sleeping" on him. I guess that's what a disappointing season will do to you, but we could do a lot worse than The Wiz.

I believe this guy is the front runner for the job. As of now, hes my first choice as well.

Im glad they have not been further involved with Cameron.

Wisenhunt will coach the Falcons or Pittsburgh.

Give me Wiz over Cam every day and twice on sundays.

And they will, no doubt. And I will support whatever choice they make. It's not like posting my opinion on a message board is gonna sway them.

Whisenhunt would be the wisest choice right now. He can come in and begin to assemble a coaching staff immediately instead of having to wait until after the playoffs. It would also give them a chance to be at the college all-star games to evaluate players on a more personal basis.

Reading between the lines, I would say if we hire Wisenhunt we may also be keeping Mularkey. When Mularkey was hired as HC in Buffalo, he wanted to bring in Wisenhunt as OC, but he was overuled by the Bill's front office. My point is that Wisenhunt and Mularkey appear to be on the same page (I believe they were also together for some time in Pittsburg?), so there's a good possibility Wisenhunt would want to retain Mularkey as OC. I don't have a problem with that, but I know a lot of Dolphin fans want to get rid of Mularkey. Just food for thought.

To me, it is a good sign that Wisenhunt is talking to Wayne today because I didnt think the guy would be interviewing until next week. After going to the other teams, it was said he was going back home to pittsburgh. That led me to believe that he was going to end up in Pittsburgh for sure (still can).

But now he is already changed his plans for us. Waynes $ will talk bigtime because it is out there. cowher might be jealous now.

for the sake of continuity, he also probably knows Capers and Mularky very well. I only have two problems with Mularky:
1) he doesnt run the ball even when its working bigtime
2) too many trick plays that backfire. We need Ronnie B more involved in the passing game. That is what we brought him here for I thought. He supposedly had the best hands around. I havent seen it cus it hasnt been used at all.
