...better off this year than the last? Dumb question I know...but one that must be asked.

You answered your own question!!

We'ew BETTER! THERE I ansewered My own qustion.:crazy: :woot:

Well lets see

Qb- No proof we are better. Probably about the same, maybe a little better because of cohesion from working together and Henne has a year of experience

RB- No real differance same cast

Fb- Once again a big questionmark in blocking

WR- should be improved added two players that should contribute while replacing two players that had about 6 receptions

TE- We have downgraded- We basically only have Fasano and scrubs

OL- We should have improved with talent and experience of starters , we may have less depth.

DL- Basically same line with another possible rotation guy and Dotson may step up some. Merling and Langford should only get better. Still need a young DT in my opinion that can takeover for Ferg.

lb- Depending on Roth we are deeper with Taylor back. Should be strength of team

CB- Short term we have some raw players playing alot of minutes. Long term we should have our tandem of future. Beyond our top three they are just roster filler.

S- Two similar yet very experienced safeties. If one gets injured we are probably in trouble this season although Clemems has potential longterm.

K- Same strengths same weakness. Good on field goals , miserable on touchbacks.

P- Same punter new year.

Return Game- Who the hell knows

Special Teams coverage - We shall see

So over all LB depth, Wr Depth, Cb potential and OL starters seem better.

Only Te seems to have taken a step back in depth.

So overall we sould be improved rosterwise although I think recordwise we take a minorstep back Overall we are on right track

We're better than last year on paper, but the schedule this year is way harder.

Sorry, but I disagree on D-line. Losing Holliday is a step back.

lost holliday gained Campbell yes a step down but Merling, Langford and Dotson should be improved so I dont think we downgraded

Sorry, but I disagree on D-line. Losing Holliday is a step back.

Losing Holliday was a step back, but Starks can fill that void. I think he plays just as well as Holliday and can play as a DT in our four DL sets in nickel coverage. But we will miss him lockerroom presence.

Our D-line should be much better. Langford looks better; Starks looks better; and McDaniel looks very good. Starks is better than Holliday, and I think Langford and McDaniel will be too.
