well, in carolina game he made a real nice play on the ball to make incomplete. Nolan Carroll may be returning kicks as backup to gates so he has that value with a little experience. As far as tackling skills, i say compared to sean smith? lets be honest here, lots of good cb's are not great tacklers. Jimmy wilson quickly upgrading Carrolls spot though.
 
Yes, and OL is a major concern, as well as #2 CB. Sean Smith is really bad. Are people really banking on that when Long comes back the line is gonna be good? Yeah, maybe the left side.

Teams aren't stupid, they'll abuse our right side every chance they get. Just like teams will target Whoever Sean Smith is covering because he is the weak link in the secondary.

Need to move Pouncey to RG and Carey is the least detrimental to the team at RT.

I wouldnt say Smith is very bad. Aside from the obvious tackling problems, he is a good corner. Had he held onto all the INts last year he would have been in the pro bowl.

Allens safety last night was nice. To bad it was called back on a bad call by the refs.
 
I watched the game. He played well. Marshall was his main target and the kid that was checking him was made to look foolish. Chad still needs to get better. But if he plays like he has the last two games we will have no problem getting over 500
 
I was there and am concerned by the lack of coverage on their backs. I had to pay attention after they busted a couple of big ones, and there were several of missed Buc's plays due to bad coverage ( bad throws by their QB)on the backs. Also the Buc's D-line is going to be very good, although that is no consolation for our pathetic O-line. Henne looked good enough to win with.
 
I recorded the game and watched it three times so far.

Carey is playing for a paycheck. Hes about as mobile as a oldman at a Denny's all-you-can-eat.

Muthra for all the crap he does and doesnot deserve; Chad has got sidestep away from the pressure granted that's hard to when the human turnstyle at RG just got beat again.

Lastly, WTF asking a 3rd TE to block a DE on runplays to the weakside? Who drew up that god awful play design?
 
I was at the game....Henne played well...two games in a row. The O-line needs big Jake back bad, and somebody else at right tackle.

First team defense played pretty well except for that scoring drive after the Marshall fumble...that fumble really turned the game.
 
O-Line horrendous
team did not support QB
I hate Henne
QB did a good job with what he was given
Backs and receivers need to toughen up thats what your going to see all season
Cam was beaten in coverage alot
