With all these ridiculous threads threads popping up, I wanted to know who the consensus play makers are on this team.

Top 3:
1). Ronnie Brown - Trade possibility!? What are you, stupid? Our franchise running back
2) Joey Porter - Old but still the great
3). Jake Long - This kid is the key to keeping our offense playing at such high levels

Honorable mentions:
Yeremiah Bell
Anthony Fasano
Chad Pennington

One 1000 yards season, One 16 games season. We're stupid because we would trade him straight up for Boldin.

1) Chad pennington
2) Joey Porter
3) Ronnie Brown

Jake Long might be the most valuable on the long run though.

I get your argument with his durabilty but Anquan Boldin is still not enough compensation for what Ronnie Brown brings to the table.

Its that simple, Adrian Peterson is worth more to his team than Plaxico Burress is worth to him.

Football is nothing without the running game. It is the most important aspect of any offense without proven playmakers at the other skill postions.

Unless they give us Fitzgerald I would not even think about giving up Ronnie Brown.

yea he has one 1,000 yrd season and every year he has been in the league our O line has been in transition and not had any REAL studs except this year when even with a bunch of injury's and splitting time with Ricky he still got 950...
you put Ronnie on the vikings with that line and he is no AP but i bet anything he gets at least 1,400

1.jake long
2.ronnie brown
3. Jason Ferguson

I was thinking of putting Ferguson as honorable mention but he is so old I don't know how long we will have him for, but yeah he is a force.

How can you not put Pennington in there.

1. Joey Porter
2. Chad Pennington
3. Ricky Williams & Ronnie Brown

Honorable Mention: Will Allen, Yerimiah Bell, Jake Long, Fasano

I still believe that Ricky could be one of the better backs in the league if he got a lot more carries, the same can be said about Ronnie Brown, both of those guys are backs that get it going when they get 25-30 touches a game.

I want one more solid year out of Jake Long before I dub him one of the best players we have.

One thing Ronnie Brown does NOT bring to the table is durability. As far as Plax goes, there may not be one player in football that was worth more to his team than him. Running is important, I'll grant. Who, through, was in the Superbowl? Cardinals, and, the Steelers. Niether got there by primarilly running the ball, and, niether ran effectivly in the Superbowl.

How can you not put Pennington in there.

because the question is who is the best players we have not who plays the best for us..
I dont know if he would of had that kind of season on a different team that would of asked what most teams ask from their qb's. Dont get me wrong im more than happy with having him as our Qb but i just dont think he is top 3 players on our team..
go ahead bash me

The best players on the Dolphins now are, in order, IMO...
1- Chad Pennington.
2- Jake Long
3- Y. Bell

There are a few that are close, IMO, but, at critical positions I think that's my list.
