i know that ted ginn jr is one of the best kickoff/punt return guys in this years draft class, but who are the other guys that can change a game with kickoff/punt returns? if you know some guys, then please tell me their projected draft round, name, position and college.

i think we need a good return guy, maybe in the later rounds. :cooldude:

If all they can do is return kicks then they arent worth drafting. Dante hall would have been cut from the cheifs if he didn't learn how to play WR. Hester would have never bee drafted if he didnt atleast show signs of being a good corner.

Its why Kelly Cambell didn't get a spot this year.

sorry, i forget to say that they should be able to play their position as well.

Kelly Campbell didn't get a spot because he couldn't stay healthy. I hope that he gets a shot next season because we could use a speed receiver/deep threat and a great return man.

Yeah, Kelly Campbell is a burner..Runs like a 4.2 or 4.3 or somehting...And we still have to see what Vick can do in the return game...

DeShean Jackson is the best KR/PR in the nation, but only a sophmore, but in this draft class

#2 behind Ginn would have to be Steve Breston WR/KR/PR from Mich.

you also have a couple guys who are pretty good in Tom Zibikowski, Paul Williams, Quinton Jones, and Ross Dickerson (sr WR from Hawaii avg 25 yards a KR )

Is Ted Ginn a worse athlete than Devin Hester or Reggie Bush?

Does Ted Ginn have worse field vision than Devin Hester or Reggie Bush?

Take Ted Ginn.

Ginn really doesn't have moves, but he's extremely fast and agile. The only weakness with him is if the kick coverage is good, he can't get around people. BUT if he's got say 5-10 yards of real estate (which isn't much), and he can get to the sideline, he can pick up a lot of yards.

Breaston is not as great of a return man as some would make him out to be. He rarely fair catches, gets his clock cleaned a lot, and really isn't that fast.

Eric Weddle out of Utah is pretty good, as is Aaron Ross of Texas.

Johnnie Lee Higgins, WR, UTEP returned two of his 12 punt returns for TDs this year.
Steve Breaston, WR, Michigan returned four punts and one kickoffs for TDs in his career.
Ryne Robinson, WR, Miami of Ohio is/was the active leader in punt returns for TDs and yardage. I didn't see him play this year so I don't know if he broke the TDs record.
Chris Davis, WR Florida State is dangerous after the catch and has come close many times in breaking punt returns for TDs
Although Garrett Wolfe didn't return kicks in college, he may have to in the pros. With his vision he could excel at it.

does it matter ginn the guy who should take no matter what

I have watched Chris Davis over the last few yrs, and the more i see of him the more he reminds me of Lavernus Coles. If the Dolphins selected him in the 4th i would be happy with his selection.
