Dolphins Til I die

:roflmao: your sig is funny , pats never?? i guess the 3 titles in last 4 years is just a bad dream..... or do u mean never u will be a pats fan? i guess thats true since u are in england and we beat you guys the real patriots!!!!!!!!!!

You know, trying to defend yourself on these boards is like pissin' in the wind....

A good arguement is fine, I welcome it. But stupid shots like this are just a waste of board space.....

It's mostly opinion, of course.....

Marino..(No brainer)

Zonk..(C'mon, you know I'm right)

Jenson..

Why? I love crash....When I played ball, I knew what guy I wanted to be and, it was Crash. I wasn't ever the right size at the right time, and, that was the guy that gave me inspiration.

Crash was one of my favorite players, too.

maybe its just me but id rather have the qb that won my team titles than the qb who puts on a show lighting it up with stats.....

and i know there are many others who feel the same way...
in all sports that is what is looked at in terms of success.
how many championships did u win? marino didnt win any....
if brady retired tommorow he would be seen years from now as more of a successful qb than dan the man ever was....

u hate hearing that but its true, dan was mr. stats but he never was a champion.....
and what was with him quitting the front office job??? never heard why he really left that a few days after he joined...
not the bs excuse he gave but why really did he quit?

maybe someone one here knows that

C'mon man, you know that just simply isn't true. I will admit, Tom Brady will go down in NFL history as one of the best quarterbacks to ever play. Great leader? Absolutely. Hall of Fame credentials? Of course. But, he is no Dan Marino. Now before you go nuts and start saying, "he won three rings, blah, blah, blah, let me explain something that New England fans have failed to grasp. What goes up, must come down and professional football dynasties are not immune to the laws of gravity. When the Pats start losing key players to injury and retirement and people begin to figure out how to play them, Tom Brady will struggle. One thing that I loved about Marino was he always kept the Dolphins relavent. Sure, he was a stat machine and he didn't get that ring, but he did lead a lot of Miami teams to the postseason, that wouldn't have made it, had any other quarterback been under center. Dan Marino was able to take complete control of a game and make the players around him better, Tom Brady is a good quarterback in a great system, with a solid supporting cast and good coaching. But, he is still no Dan Marino.

(Offense/Defense)
Marino---Zach
Csonka---JT
Griese---Madison
or
(Wicky Williams/Marks Bro's:cry: ) (Offerdahl/Timbo)

You could have so many combos it's rediculous!!!

3 Greatest?

Larry Csonka, Dan Marino & Dwight Stephenson. Larry dictated the flow of the game by always getting positive yards on first down. Dan was the quarterback, no Dolfan questions that. Dwight guarunteed a pocket.

Brady didn't win any either... the Patriots did.

Give up on the lame "rings make you the best QB" theory... it's tired, and easily refuted: Trent Dilfer (or Dillhole, you choose) with the Ravens.

How many of you watched Csonka play?

Larry Csonka is arguably the greatest running back to play the game. You don't need 2000 yards of rushing a year when you get 4 yards between the tackles out of the "I" formation on first down. Each time, every time, and everyone knows they're handing it to you. I can't count the games where Larry seemed to run on every first down and the Dolphins would have possession for the whole first quarter and then score. The game was over at that point. They were exhausted and demoralized, and you don't gain 100 yards playing like that. You do win games and you do win championships.

Dan Marino, Larry Csonka, and Paul Warfield are my three
