Who are the top o-linemen left that we could get?

Collins is on the market as a LT and he'll get paid like one. I think the guys we need are Breno Giacomini and Shelley Smith...
 
i think it's time to let wade smith know we have interest but to make him wait it out while his low market shows...probably will get him dirt cheap if we do that...bring him in to compete...low money short term deal...he fits the offense...not very good in pass pro but still gets his head out in front on the run and screen game and is on his horse off the los...

we've reached that point imo

no to zach strief no more 30 plus year old contracts please...i think he's 32...no

i would also approach michael oher to see what the market is there...i think someone may steal one there...yes the tapes not good last year but he's still a good athlete and can move and if you sign him short term will be motivated...

collins when you already have a albert who is another pretty much finesse tackle in the run game especially would make us too finesse imo...not to mention i think he's more a left tackle...

Two guys who would fit our system. Neither one has been rumored to visit but I would like one of them on our roster.
 
Shelley Smith would probably be the best and he is in Giant land right now. And if he leaves Giant land he is heading to Patriots for meeting.

I have not seen any interest in Collins so far, and could see him in the $6M range, maybe even less. I like your other two picks.

Last I heard, Collins was visiting TB today. Haven't heard anything more. That's why the rumor came out that Penn may be released. Not sure if he will get LT money. All of the teams that needed a LT have signed one.
 
well, I know its only been 2 days, but the way things are moving I see the free agent market for RT and G getting very thin....very quick! I hope we pick up some one before its too late.
 
I am getting a little worry that they'rell going fast and we still need 3 starters..1 should be drafted but we still need 2 more.

Collins went to visit tampa so i would like to see him go to miami if he leaves tampa without a contract or snatch up Donald Penn if Collins replaces him in Tampa. IDk if they would play RT but the lading spots for LT's is starting to run thin so some may need to change over.
