Ginn/Wilford I both like but after those 2 we basically have nobody... Right now our wide reciever group is probably the WORST in the league,

We must be signing one in free agency right?? Are we really gonna go into 2008 with just ginn/wilford/hagan???

That lineup wont scare anyone and they'll be free to stack the box to stop the run...

i wouldnt worry to much about it , we prob grab meshawn , that should help. if nothing else we could run it a lot!

They signed or traded for two TE's and at least two other WR's before the draft.

I'm sure we are signing a reciever, how about trade Taylor for a starting reciever.

I would guess we will throw it to WRs, TEs, and RBs. Hopefully not to defenders.

I recall one last year John Beck mustve been throwing to whoever mormons believe rules the sky, only a Buffalo LB caught it for a score when Becks diety threw it back.

The truth is we won't have a true number one reciever unless we trade for one. If we can move JT for a number 1 reciever i would be happy. But they blatantly ignored the wr position and secondary positions. Not to mention they addressed the rb situation too late, with to awful picks at RB. Parcells thinks he can just find another Marion Barber like its no problem, Well... its not true.

I think we will pick up some WR's on the waiver wire when teams have to cut down to 53 before the start of the season. Parcells is builiding our lines first....everything else will come later.

how are these awful picks? both solid backs. and great value at the spot we got them at. i would not give up chad henne for a 2nd round running back . our need isnt that high for RB that i would waste a 2nd for it.

Why not? Running backs are everywhere. Get some good blocking and there are plenty of guys who can get good yardage carrying the ball.

Look at the kid GB picked up last year that NYG dumped. Look at the 7th rounder that beasted for the NYG. Most teams have at least two good RBs. They are a dime a dozen.

It isnt uncommon to find RBs late in the draft. Thats Parcells' theory. Mort was talking about the conversation he had with Parcells about that exact thing.

Would a WR in rounds 6 or 7 have been that guy? Doubtful. PS Lest we forget we drafted a WR with the NINTH OVERALL last year, and a third rounder the year before. Debate all you want about how good they are, but we have addressed the position the last two drafts. Instead of complaining to BP and the boys, lets let these guys we DO HAVE at the position put up or shut up.

If we trade for Boldin, we have to give more than JT. As much as that pains me to say.

I wanted to go for a WR in rounds 2-3!! After we knew Long was going to be our 1st pick, I wanted a CB, WR and DE in the 2-3 rounds, and what happened? Only a DE!
