First of all, its an absolute blessing be this conversation after starting season 1-4. I thought we were DONE, so to be in the thick of the playoff hunt feels amazing. Quick tip of the cap to Case, Tannehill and the defense yesterday!

With that being said im not too big on tie breakers. Who are we rooting , the Broncos or the Chiefs and why?

Let's play a guessing game,

Growing up in the Mtn time zone, you either love or loathe the donkeys.

KC is QB'd by a fellow U of Utah Grad & the best QB Urban Meyer has coached

I'm going to be contrarian here and say that I don't think it matters. Denver and KC are both good teams with holes on offense and that are going to struggle to put up points consistently.

Wait and see who throws this game away and then root for them to keep losing.

I think Broncos losing gives us an easier path, but I really don't think it matters. Looking at the AFC West teams remaining schedules, as long as we keep winning, I think they'll knock each other out. Chiefs, Broncos, and Raiders all play each other, I think it's the Chiefs and Broncos that still play each other twice. Someone is going to lose

Denver's remaining schedule:

vs. KC - W
at Jacksonville - W
at Tennessee - W
vs NE - L
at KC (Christmas) - L
vs Oakland - W

KC's remaining schedule:

at Denver - L
at Atlanta - L
vs Oakland - L
vs Tennessee - W
vs Denver - W
at San Diego - L

Oakland's remaining schedule:

vs Houston tonight - W
vs Carolina - W
vs Buffalo - W
at KC - W
at SD - L
vs Indianapolis - W
at Denver - L

Looking at these schedules this my guess for where these teams finish: Denver 11-5, KC 9-7, Oakland 12-4.

I think KC beats Oakland. Of those three teams in the west, I actually think it's the Raiders who are the most likely to falter. Don't think that defense is going to hold up,.

Broncos are 4-2 in conference, Chiefs are 5-2...Dolphins 5-3...Can't remember what the next tie breaker is for the playoffs but I don't really care which one wins or loses.

Also have to root for Houston tonight against the Raiders. If all three teams in the AFC West end up with 7-3 records after this week Miami is in better shape in the long run.

Good thinking. That's what I plan to do as well.

KC almost has more wins than Smith does TD passes. They can't sustain their success I don't think.

Get to 10-6 and we'll get in. I'm pretty certain of it.

I look at it in three group of games
The MUST: vs SF
The Home games (need to go 1-1) vs NE, vs Cardinals
The road Games (need to go 2-1) @Bal, @NYJ, @Buf

I see atleast 3 losses left on both the Chiefs and Broncos schedules. Besides the AFC West, Buffalo Also has a cushy closing schedule. Watch out for the Bills.

It would not hurt for the Chargers to start playing spolier.

One of them will lose at least two or 3 games but unless we get some of our starters back to the oline we're not going to get in. We have the ravens, bills, jets and pats coming up. It's only gonna get harder

Ozzy rules

I feel like Denver is more vulnerable. The Broncos also have to play New England so I guess I'm rooting for KC.

Obviously, Miami needs to take care of their own business. Getting in at 10-6 looks tough. The Dolphins might have to go 11-5.

All 3 of those are rough, but the chiefs have it worst.
