Multiple reports have said we are going to be big players in FA, who do you guys think we are targeting? Or who are you hoping we target? I am a little scared we will be so active in a weak FA class, but sounds like fireworks are coming.

outside of TE Trey Burton (who I don't know if we're even interested in) and a couple of the O-lineman, I can't see us targeting anyone in this free agency class.

patch some holes (or depth) with some solid inexpensive players, that's about it.

maybe someone we like gets cut down the road.

Signing a FA right now would be like throwing water on a grease fire, or hell more like gasoline.

We need to shed more cap space and build through the draft.

I agree but everyone is reporting we have "big plans" in place. Just heard on radio they are expecting us to sign 3 guys on day 1 alone. I am NOT saying i agree with the strategy, but I am wondering who they would be looking at? Anyone you would be happy with?

I called for Burton months ago, but besides him i really don't know who we should be signing. Thats what scares me.

why should it scare you? whether we sign one player in free agency or 5 on day one, they could all just be quality depth, special teamers, projects. doesn't have to be any major investment.

What scares me is who's in charge. I would love to add good depth pieces or mid priced players at reasonable prices. What FA should be used for. But the talk of big moves is scary, bc I dont see any players worthy of big money.

I cant think of any that fit our needs. Honestly, no one really jumps out at me.

That said, I have a gutwrenching feeling that the reason the Landry deal got rushed was to free up cap space for Tannenbaums mancrush: Richard Sherman. Which I think is a COLOSSAL mistake.
