Who are your top 3 key acquisitions during the offseason??

Who are your top 3 key acquistions over the offseason whether by draft or free agency for Miami next year??

For example, a package of Julian Peterson out of San Francisco, Philip Rivers out of San Diego, and CB Michael Huff via draft out of Texas would be nice.

OR how about Daunte Culpepper out of Minnesota, Nate Clements out of Buffalo, and OT Eric Winston via draft out of Miami??

But try to keep it realistic, in other words no Reggie Bush or Matt Lienert, and it doesn't have to be a first round pick or big name free agent. Or maybe you see us trading up in the draft, if so what are we losing??

Currently we are sitting on the #15 draft pick.

Getting Leinart isn't totally unrealistic. Hard, but definitely reasonable. Asking Houston to take David Bowens, Reggie Howard, Stockar McDougle and our 1st for their 1st is unreasonable.

My 3: Any good QB with potential (Brees, Rivers, Leinart, Quinn, etc), a veteran CB/S/LB, and a quality OLman like Hutchinson.

McNeil would be awesome. Ronnie's former teammate is HUGE. :fatman:
 
Free agents QB Drew Brees & G Steve Hutchinson & first round pick S Michael Huff. There's enough good OLBs in the draft that we can get a good one in the 2nd round that we don't have to spend a lot on Peterson.

Would the people who say drafting Lienart a possibility please explain to me how we'd be able to swing a fair trade according to the draft value chart. I'm just curious what you'd offer to trade our 16th pick (1000 pts) for the 2nd overall pick (2600 pts). Btw, the entire rest of our draft is worth about 700 points.
 
Amazing, the guy that started the thread to keep it real and everyone think that we can get 2 1st rounders with 1 pick...lol I'd like for us to get Wayne so we don't have to worry about WR on draft day.If we could get a good safety too then great.In the draft I'd like to get Cutler in the 1st but if he's gone then Greenway if he's there.In the end I'd like to come out of it with a young QB, a top WR like Wayne and a SS and OLB.The combinations are endless tho.If we get a guy like Greenway in the 1st then we'd have to get a QB later on and a SS.

Dude....if that happened I don't know how I would feel.

We'd be CONTENDERS one year earlier then I thought.

ROFL, the second of those mock drafts has us taking Devin Hester in the first round. That's unbelievably stupid. The guy was 4th string this year behind a truefreshman.
