If you became a fan in this decade, I must give you props because this has easily been their worst decade. Kudos to all of you who chose the Fins over some flash in the pan team that was doing good.
 
I have to agree. I've been a die-hard since 1984, and honestly, I've even caught my attention wavering during games nowadays. Like I've said before, I'm more pumped about this season than I have been for a LONG time.

That being said, there probably won't be that many responses to this thread. We probably haven't built the fanbase much the last few years. :lol:
 
I became a fan this decade.. Right in the beginning though. 2001 was a pretty good year then it was all downhill from there but I´ve really become a die-hard fan those last couple of years..
 
i think 96 is when i started following the team religeously. I didn't get into football til I was like 12. So no just outside this decade. I have a long history of fin fans in the fam. though.
 
I played running back on a Pop Warner football team in the 6th grade. The team? The Dolphins of course. :)
 
I've also became a fan this decade. 2002 was the year where I "pick" the aqua phins over any teams in this league. I don't regret my choice, still a very proud fan of them!
 
I started following in 1st grade which would've been 93 I believe. 05 is when the Dolphins became more then just my favorite team they became my life. Now, I find myself checking on them all season. Hell, I'm watching preseason games from my computer here in Central, Pa. Something that I've never done before.

I love the Miami Dolphins!
 
I started seriously following the fins when JJ came here. Before that I was a Steeler & Raider fan. I've lived in Miami for most of my life though...

I can deal with the highs & lows that normal teams go through, but the insane drama with the local media and the constant coaching changes really blow...
 
I became a fan in like 2005 when I moved down here. Dont know how it feels to win yet
 
2003-2007 I started liking football after watching the bucs vs raiders superbowl.
 
Sorry...I became a fan when"That 70's Show" was a reality show...
