Who can clear up our QB situation?

Are we keeping Cpep? Are we drafting a new one? Im justn lost as to what is going on with our QB. Can comeone enlighten me? I'd appreciate it

the only people who can enlighten you on that situation are randy and cam so if you get an answer on those questions then i've got a few more to send your way

I was hoping Quinn would drop, but events the last 24 hrs have made it unlikely. Cleveland is close to signing Jamal Lewis (thus Adrian Peterson is likely not going 3rd) and I heard that the texans were trying to trade up so that they could draft Quinn. I think Cleveland is taking a QB. The Raiders? Who knows.
 
Cleo will stay and Trent Green looks to be possibly coming to Miami. Looks like we are downgrading at QB this season. Come on Trent Green? Guy is old and is one hit to the head of being out of the game.

cleo starts, green is the veteran backup, draft developmental guy. culpepper gets traded to raiders for their 2nd... ok maybe not but maybe?
 
i think dan marino can clear up our qb situation.....please come back dan
 
#1Trent Green (has experience;fundamentally sound;displays offense) #2 Cleo Lemon(good backup; knows offense)#3 rookie QB(could be Quinn or could be late rounder;learns offense)

Just my opinion on the way events have been unfolding;nobody knows till the final roster is set.

If you are looking for fact ... none of us know.

signing Jamal to a 1 year deal doenst really subtract the need for a guy like Peterson.
 
I think Muller and Cam know about QB's so I'm not worry about it right now...They'll make the right choices for this team.

The good news, CAM knows QBs .... so, he should be familiar with Lemonade and the 'old' DC ....

The bad news, doubtful CAM yet knows the destiny of DC .... which creates a Plan B of sorts .... much like last year ....

Plan B = veteran, Lemonade ... and another 'developmental' QB as # 3 ... [not necessarily, but hopefully, a draft pick from this year]

In the end, IF we bring in another legitimate QB, and don't release DC, then I don't see Lemon staying here .... thus:

Plan C = DC, veteran, and another developmental QB as above ....

Plan D = DC, veteran, Lemonade ... but doubtful that Lemon would squeeze himself into # 3 again ... so this would be LEAST likely

Bottom Line is that NO ONE can clear up the QB situation right now today -- it still very much revolves around DC, his health, and his ability to play under CAM and his 'system' ... and we will NOT find those answers out before the draft -- so we don't show our hand

We are keeping PEP no doubt.. We cant even trade for him so he has to get a chance.
We are keeping Cleo to compete with CPEP. Its obvious because we resigned him for 1 year as a restricted FA.
We are drafting another QB if we do not sign Green. If we sign him, and Quinn falls or another QB comes our way, CPEP will be dropped or most likely be placed on IR so we dont have to have 4 QBs on the roster.
