Who do we draft with our 1st round now?

First post, but I saw we trade out of the pick and aquire a 2nd so we really are only giving up money for Culpepper.. I would like to see Tye Hill slip into the 20's, and someone that somebody wants, say one of the RB's fall to our slot at 16 and maybe trade with Indy for their first and second or a third.

ot winston justice if hes still there if not a cb. theres tons of depth in the draft at the cb postion so we dont have to spend a first rounder on one.

what are you saying??? first we didnt "acquire a 2nd" we traded OUR 2nd round pick for daunte culpepper. 2nd, our first round pick is 16th not in the 20's and we wouldnt draft a qb and then trade him to indy lol for a first and second cuz if we cant trade him were screwed with a first down rb.

we can try and trade down and get carpenter or greenway or just stick at our pick and take williams if hes there or hill.

We need to upgrae our O line. With Culpepper coming of such a severe knee injury, we have have to protect him. That has to be our #1 priority rightnow. Picking up LJ Shelton in free agency isn't going to cut it! Draft an OL preferably Winston Justice! We have a good CB in Poole and we picked up Goodman form the the Lions in free agency! If we don't take an OL then we better take Brodie Croyle cause we will need him before the season is over!

I think Cromartie is a solid pick. trading down seems unlikely, but if possible, trading into the 20's would be ideal imo. Cromartie is a Saban cb all the way.

wow man do u have to be so rude its his first post. How can u not tell what hes trying to say? he's saying he hopes that one of the Rb's are still there when we pick at 16 that might interest a team in the late 1st round such as indy for a trade that gives us their 1st, 2nd, possibly another pick. that way we would still have a 2nd round pick, which u can say swapped out with the other one in the DC trade.

i agree we need to protect dc, but the truth is we went out and got Shelton to play. I think Shelton is here to play at least until Alabi steps up his game. Just a guess.

The fact is, we need help in the secondary. Goodman is not a legit starter, he seems like more of a nickel back, good for run support. Poole is good, but who knows after the injury. I personally like Cromartie.

I dont want Croyle, especially if its before the 3rd round. I think Culpepper will have a solid 5 yrs here, I hope. I like Omar Jacobs in the 4th, but thats unlikely, it seems like he's getting more popular, at least on this site .
