If Miami continues to slide , or actually even if they trun it around and start winning, what players do you think they keep or do you hope they keep/get rid of???
I'm thinking that they are going to really need some cap space to fix any of the problems that they have, so does this mean it may finally be time to part ways with guys like J.T., Zach, Booker, maybe even Mcmichael??? I'd hate to see any of these guys go, but I also didn;t wanna see Ogun, Surtain, or Madison go either, and there's gonna have to be some tough decisions made.
I think "Maybe" we keep Zach, AND Taylor, Mcmike, and part ways with Booker, Kevin Carter, maybe even Vonnie Holliday, a few of the current O-linemen need to go, and Keith Traylor is probably already on his last leg. I think they'd be fine with Chambers, Hagan, Welker at WR's. we would be losing a lot of leadership and experience up front on defense, but it could all turn out for the better...... Roth, Evans, R. Wright etc.... is our future. Some of the guys we just got this year also won't be back, so there will be an influx of new 2nd tier players in as well because as much as we'd all love it......you just can't fill out the entire roster with pro bowl players. I really wouldn;t be too surprised if J.T. got traded either but it's just too hard for me to imagine him playing for another team, same goes for Zach Thomas.
All in all I see the roster shaping up like this.......
QB: Culpepper(yes he will be back)
RB: Brown
WR: Chambers, Hagan, Welker, FA
TE: Mcmike
LT: FA or draft pick
LG: James
C: FA or draft
RG: Hadnot
RT: Carey
( I really don't know about the O-line, I think Carey and James come back but who knows, we could end up with an entire new starting 5)
DE: Taylor, Roth
DT: Evans, Wright, FA
LB: Zach, Crowder, FA or draft
CB: Allen, Daniels, Goodman(I think he might stay), FA
S: Allen, Bell, FA or draft
Now I know all of these that I said FA or draft aren't going to happen that way, but like if we stay put at lets say....... safety, then we get FA LB's, or vice versa
