Chad P has been here a short time, to say that putting Henne out there is going to make much difference with a team like this is ridiculous. I say stick with Pennington for a while, let him get a good shot. We could have easily beat the Jets if not for all of the mistakes on both sides of the team. The offense especially dug a hole. Pennington goes out today and didn't play well, but other areas of this team looked bad again. Why do you want to throw Henne out there and have him lose confidence on a team that is terrible all around. Pennington had gotten the job done for the Jets plenty of times and has beat the Patriots in the past. Henne/Pennington, doesn't matter who goes out there. The results will not differ. It's a pattern with this team. Obviously the QB isn't the sole problem. I believe Pennington will be the starter next week, and like he always has in the past, he will bounce back. While we might still lose, he's probably going to put up big numbers like he always has after a loss, and give us a chance to win. Let Henne work on coming into games here and there, get a feel for the game, but don't let him lose confidence before he has a chance to give us years.. Everyone is always so quick to bench a QB who just got here. Relax.
