Who do we sign now that Smiley is on I.R.?

I don't know if we go offensive line. It will really depend on how Alleman looks. Personally, I would like to see Anthony Armstrong activated.

Shawn Murphy is really making me mad. Alleman was taking snaps at right guard, so it would have been nice if Murphy would be able to play.

I know it's early but Murphy's rookie season is a complete washout. He had better step it up next year or we need to send his butt packing!!! I wish like hell that McChesney didn't get injured like he did. It looks like Al Johnson needs to speed up his learning curve and Alleman needs to keep improving. Especially "if" we do make a run at a playoff spot.

scary stuff here... camarillo was a big loss, smiley is a humongous loss, he's arguably our best lineman...

Murphy is a Punk, him and Wilford are on my hit list... only poor draft pick.. i dunno why he's taking so long.. whats going on with Nate Garner and Brandon Frye?

i think our best line up is Long/Alleman/Satele/Ndukwe/Carey... its not much, both Guards are inexperienced and with samson being dominated by NT's.. the interior line looks like trouble, i'd hate to see us win the next three then get owned by Kris Jenkins when we play the Jets for the division title

Ndukwe had 2 bonehead penalties against the Rams. I wish Brandon frye or someone would challenge him for that right guard spot. Ndukwe needs to be replaced.

we just signed center Al Johnson. Johnson takes the roster spot of wide receiver Greg Camarillo, who was placed on injured reserve earlier this week with a knee injury that he sustained in last Sunday’s game against New England.

The 6-5, 305-pound Johnson originally was a second-round draft choice of Dallas in 2003. He spent four years with the Cowboys (2003-06) before signing with Arizona as an unrestricted free agent in 2007. After spending his entire rookie season of 2003 on injured reserve with a knee injury, the 29-year-old Johnson went on to start 31 of the 32 games in which he appeared over the next two seasons (2004-05). He played in all 16 games with the Cowboys in 2006 before joining Arizona the following year. Johnson opened all 14 games in which he played in 2007 with the Cardinals, and spent the first six games of 2008 on the team’s injured reserve list with a knee injury before being released on October 21. Overall in his career, he has played in 62 regular season games with 45 starts.

Johnson was a four-year letterman at Wisconsin (1999-2002), where he started his final three seasons. During those three years, the Badgers won 32 games and were 3-0 in bowl games. Born January 27, 1979, Johnson attended Southern Door High School in Brussels, Wis.

Murphy is a Punk,

oh brother

:rolleyes2:

Bob Keuchenburg called his daddy in tears saying he was quitting football

it is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too early to give up on an o-lineman

What o-linemen are available?? Will we re-sign Evan Mathis?

I wouldn't mind taking a look at Bentley.

Bentley wouldn't be a bad roll of the dice.

I think Al Johnson is taking Smiley's place on the line though.

Im more worried about Ndukwe than i am about Alleman. Ndukwe has breakdowns everygame it seems

Murphy was a project when he was drafted....it was a given even at the time that he would take some time to develop. He wasn't even playing offense until his junior or senior year. That pick was not about this year and anyone who is going to judge the guy by his impact this year is foolish.
