Who do you like to have, Zack Martin or James + Turner ?

If they could get Martin, they should trade up, and the cost might be a 3rd rounder.

But, I'm not sure how Martin would do on right side.
Thus, I will take RT James & Atheletic but raw Turner.

from what i read, the dolphins viewed martin as a guard in the nfl. whether that turns out to be the case or not, it explains our diminished interest in trading up for him. hopefully james and turner solve two spots on our line, including RT, for a good, long time.

Fruitless exercise to ask the question. Ja'Wuan James and Billy Turner are our guys and Zack Martin can rot in Dallas in his cowboy boots sniffing Tony Romo's sweaty Lone Star jockstrap. We move forward with Ja'Wuan and Billy and not give Martin another thought.

The draft is OVER....time to move on. If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, we all would have a wonderful Christmas.

trade up to me in this draft was not an option so im taking James and Turner any day of the week

Three years out I think Turner will be better than the other two options anyway so I like our draft. Zack Martin has short arms. Short armed tackles usually don't perform well in the NFL these days which is why the guard projection for him. The farther an olineman can keep the defender from his chest, especially in pass prot, the better. James isn't the best all around tackle in the draft but watching film his pass prot is at least equal to guys that went before him. Our three main issues last year were 1)giving Tann time to throw the ball 2)the HORRIBLE play calling of Sherman and 3)the running game. We've addressed all three of those this off-season.
