So, I wonder if any of you have looked into, dug around for gossip or simply have a bunch of good guesses on who Miami might be targeting this June?
With all of the talk about Kendall and Faneca (and a little about Chris Brown from what I have seen) I am curious if there are any good players that are assured to be without jobs here very soon that we(Miami) could use.

Hopefully we will targeting someone better than Trent Green but i doubt it.

(So, I am a goober for not remembering Trent Green when I made the original post....yeesh!! Long day!!!)

While I do think Trent has taken a step back I gotta say that after watching him here in KC for the last few years, I would be hard pressed to think of someone better especially considering he knows the offensive system so well already...

Hopefully we will targeting someone better than Trent Green but i doubt it.

I think we will have Trent Green & Pete Kendall by the time training camp starts.

I would have to say any decent offensive lineman and maybe some DBs.

like who?

there are a few but I don't know who will be available. they are the one's targeting. carr would have been a nice target with his 68 percent accuracy he displayed last year. I truly hope pep recovers or Beck can get his stuff together quick, because I do not look forward to seeing a year of Trent Green. I know everyone wants to talk about this knowing the offense stuff but if knowing the offense is all they need then lets play Lemon until beck is ready. Green stunk it up last year and at 37 I don't expect him to get better.
Hell ,call san diego about Billy Volek. We have nothing to go on to believe that Green will all of a sudden bounce right back at 37. Everybody wants to write off a much younger Cpep but ignore just as many variables and problems with bringing in a 37 year old Qb that was far from impressive last year. I guess i'm just tired of saying wait till next year with the Qb position and beck will have alot of weapons that most rookie Qb's never get. david carr had much less for most of his career.

trent green pete kendall but i'd trade for fanaca he has more upside.....and hopefully a db!

Jets aren't likely to trade Kendall in the division (or trade him at all, unless they pick up faneca), and won't cut him. He might bew upset with hs current contract, but he won't hold out.

I expect Andruzzi is a viable option though.

get Fanacea
we need
Carey is on his way
give the QB confidence, looks like we are not gettin Ricky
so most other Rbs are only as good as thier Ol

like some one said we want every week when we face the oppostion to have them scared to face us
like Schlinger
Fanacea would add some nastness to us
give up what a 3rd maybe as long as we get a contract out of him

Yes I know just a Guard
but there are no OT
and besides Carey we have nothing
Hadnot plus one hole
I like Momnimo and Sattle but just be above average

get Fancea

I like Kendall's nastyness to

when was the last time we had nast on ol
Galbreth and Heller
with out Ricky we need that
that will give us a solid line instead of a patchwork line

Yes I know cap
are we not saving money with the others besides Carey being no names

atleast get one

I wanted Carr pretty bad and was disappointed we passed without even a sniff... I hope he does well. I would love for Daunte to step up, and I think he will, just maybe not here. He will have to play VERY good to give Cam any second thoughts, but no matter, only healthy reps are going to allow him to recoup any value.

I guess we have to trust Cams abilities for now, as you know, I'm not as skeptical as you on some of the picks, so that's probably easier for me.

When I mean Nastiness in a way like Jason Taylor
Nice Guy excpet game day
that is when he lest the nastiness out
what ever it takes within the rules
Jekle and Hyde

That is a man

well I agree that passing on carr was very dissapointing especially since he is probably more talented than most Qb's in this draft. I don't think we had anything to lose by signing him especially if the alternative is Green but often coaches go with thier people for better or worse.I just wish the coaches would concentrate more on talent than who has ran thier system. This is how we ended up with Frerotte. I don't think I'm overly skeptical, I just need to be proven wrong. I give the benefit of the doubt on alot of moves but trading for 37 year old qB'S and signing a journeyman TE just don't give me the warm and fuzzies. I hope I'm wrong, just call them as I see them and I'm not wrong anymore than anybody else has been. I would be glad to be wrong.
