who do you want as are linebacker arrington or peterson

i was just wondering who we wanted more

You should make this into a poll. But I say Arrington, he is IMO the most athletically gifted lb in the league. And I think with the right coaching and learning from zach, watching and studying film like zach does, Arrington could be an AMAZINGLY SPECIAL LB. Let me put it this way, if you put zach's brain in arrington's body, he would WITHOUT QUESTION be considered the greatest MLB of all time by basically, well, everyone. I think Arrington is an outstanding LB, but relies too much on his athletic ability, if he can develop the cognitive part, well, that would just be sick beyond belief how good our LB corp would be... in fact...:barf:

Neither. I'd rather take my shot at trying to draft Greenway at the 16 spot and signing Ty Law to a deal once he lowers his demands. Can always draft a CB later in the draft and just see what the team has with Daniels/Poole/Mitchell/Goodwin/later draft pick etc before blowing a high draft pick on one.

2 young LB's in Greenway/Crowder with the veteran in Zach. By the time Zach's ready to retire those guys will be seasoned enough and the team only has to look at a MLB signing or draft pick at that time instead of signing someone and having their contract come due around the same time.

thats a good point, and one I didnt really think about. But will Greenway fall to 16? Like what CK was saying, it looks like Saban is trying to fill all of the teams holes through FA that way come draft time it will be difficult for other teams to figure out who we will draft and would also allow Saban to draft BPA. I wouldnt mind getting Greenway though.

I would like both guys, but I would have to say between the both: whoever gives us the best deal I'll take!!

But if they are both asking for the same coin or close to, then who would you choose ICE? I spell checked my post this time.

Greenway is right in that pack with Winston Justice, Broderick Bunkley, Tye Hill and some others that people think can go anywhere from 12-20.

Plus the history of 1st round draft picks from the last several years is pretty abysmal. ABrownLamp put up a list of them in the VIP room. Take a look. Pretty risky draft spot.

Deltha O'Neal
Rashard Anderson
Ahmed Plummer
Nate Clements
Will Allen
Willie Middlebrooks
Jamar Fletcher
Quentin Jammer
Phillip Buchanon
Lito Sheppard
Mike Rumph
Terence Newman
Andre Woolfolk
Sammy Davis
Nnamdi Asomugha
DeAngelo Hall
Chris Gamble
Pac Man Jones
Antrell Rolle
Carlos Rogers
Fabian Washington
Marlin Jackson

I would have to go with Arrington. Why, Peterson had more injuries.

yah I prefer LaVar also, I think with the right coaching staff and ZT by his side we will see his best.

wow, thanks for taking the time to find this for me. Part of me would really like us to draft Jackson at our spot...with DCulpeppers gun he could really perform in our offense. But that is only if we would sign either LaVar or JP before the draft.

Would be a Dominating core!!!
Is LB Ernie Simms from FSU? I heard we were being linked to draft him at 16.

It's a bad year for WR's. Most years those guys would be 2nd round material. The last 3 guys I have in my sig I see as the more likely choices (and yah I think they will look at CB's to...I just don't like the idea).

A couple draft places have. I honestly don't see it though. It'd be a bit of a reach and that would mean Greenway went off the board early causing a run in LB's.

If Huff would slide to us that would be a steal, I would be very excited to say the least.
