there's a couple of players we're reortedly after. we're expected to bring in Daniel Graham this week, so maybe we can work something out with him.

for OL, i think we'll bring back Carlisle for another visit. he's a bit small for a guard and he certainly isn't a permier talent for the position, but he's experienced and the best OL available in a weak market

i also read we're trying to bring in Kevin Curtis for a visit. he didn't sign with Detroit and will visit the Giants next. maybe we can get him here. if not, i guess we'll sign Kelley Washington

we contacted the agents of Ken Hamlin, Deon Grant and Nick Harper, so we're also looking to our secondary. anyway, FA has just begun for us (assuming the Porter deal is done) so we're going to go after a few players now that the prices seem to have come down
 
i'd love graham and curtis. graham is at least on par with mcmichael talent wise and doesnt put the ball on the ground.

curtis is a flat out upgrade over welker

I hope we dont sign any of those dbs i want laron landry or jarvis moss in the 1st and merriweather in the 2nd if we dont draft landry.We would still need a cb or 2 tho.IMO will allen is not starting material.

WILL ALLEN PLAYED VERY WELL IN MY EYES....HIS KNOCK IS HE ISNT A BALL HAWK.....I LIKE OUR SECONDARY RIGHT NOW AND THINK THAT WE CAN GET SOME GOOD QUALITY GUYS THROUGH THE DRAFT TO ADD DEPTH...


I THINK WE SHOULD FOCUS ON OLINE AND WR AND TE NOW IN FA...GRAHAM WOULD BE A NICE ADDITION....WE NEED TO TAKE SOMETHING FROM THE PATS TOO...LOL

yeah, not really a fan of Grant or Harper either. wouldn't mind Hamlin too much, but we have Bell who is basically playing the same role.

We need talent as evidenced bythe Porter signing. Any position we can upgrade why not do it. Porter over Spragan - that is hilarious - now that is an upgrade! I know our offense needs upgrading but if we can pick up a DB why not. I really don't want us to get Graham - too much money and we already have 4 TE's on the roster.

I'd like to see us get a return guy that flies. Hester made a HUGE impact for the Bears. We have always been conservative in the return game - let's get a burner and actually break a couple this year.

Wouldn't mind Stallworth. He's coming in Thursday. Guy has the speed to open things up. Stallworth, Booker and Chambers in the slot. That would be sweet.

Drawback is the drug issue, but that may drive down the price and a clause in his contract could minimize the risk.
 
Forget OLine in FA . . . lack of talent and teams are overpaying. Houck needs to develop Alabi and hope Toledo is healthy. We still got Hadnot and Shelton. Throw in 2 first day draft picks on the Line, and we are going to have to go with those guys. I rather do that than overpay like these teams are doing.
 
We still have multiple glaring holes.

First, we NEED a NT. Tractor Trailer will not be able to start all 16 games and Evans has not proven a thing.
Second, how about a LT? That might be nice...
Third, we NEED a TE. We dont have one. Plain and simple... Peelle was impressive as a 2nd TE but he is no starter.

I know we can address alot of these positions through the draft but we need to sign a few players as well.

WHATS THE NAME OF THE GUY THAT RAN THE FASTEST ON THE COMBINE......OR EVEN GETTING A GUY LIKE GINN OR REVIS WOULD HELP OUT IN 2 SPOTS.....
