the pats win and there's one less undefeated team, the saints win and maybe we play for first place next week. the pats are 0-3 in away games and this time they will play in an enclosed dome, i think the saints pull out a squeaker 31-27.

The Saints. Frankly I do not give a crap about what happened 30+ years ago and much rather worry about the present then some nostalgic record.
 
As much as I love the "Perfect Season" and it's place in history, I want to play for 1st place next week.

Of course, if we don't beat barfalo, it doesn't matter.

Either way, something good will come from that game. I would just rather focus on the present team right now.

Came here to say this. I don't care about regular season undefeated anymore. It's been done twice now.

Now, if an undefeated team makes it to the Superbowl, now I'm really rooting against them.
 
Who do I want to win? That's easy. The Saints.

The undefeated season is going to happen again at some point. I'm focused on this year and the chance to win the division.
 
The Saints can go 16-0 for all I care if it means we have a better chance of winning the division.
 
I root for the Saints, anyway there is no way Saints and Colts will go undefeated. They'll lose both 2 games till the end of the year IMO...
 
I'll be rooting for the pats.....to get blown out by 40 points.
 
I'm surprised this question even has to be asked. Saints all the way, present over past, all that junk. GO SAINTS!!!
 
how is this even a god damn question. there was also a article in miami herald about the same exact thing. this is such a stupid question it bothers me. A team [ the pats] have already had an undefeated regular season, so even if the saints do it, it dosent matter bc its been done. u have to win the superbowl to have it count, and i dont see the saints winning the superbowl.

with that said, 2009 is wat matters, not 1972. we need the pats to lose this game so we can play them for first place next week. if u r rooting for the pats to win this game, then go see a doctor and get checked out bc ur not a true fan if so.
