Who Does Ronnie Compare Too?

Ronnie reminds me of old ricky.strong and phisical running the ball but has plenty of speed to turn the corner.:baghead:

Fred Taylor. Big, fast and versatile. Let's just hope he doesn't have FT's injury problems.

Ronnie is a rare bread. Like a hybrid of Faulk and some guy who runs people over.

I've never seen Ronnie play :shakeno:

But from what I know I compare him to Ahman Green most. Sure theres differences... but it's hard to find a match for a guy like Brown.

bo jackson big fast allround good athlete
YOU KNOW WHAT I HAVE HEARD A FEW PEOPLE SAY BO JACKSON HE IS A BIT BIGGER THAN BO BUT NOT QUITE AS FAST THAT WOULD BE GREAT IF THAT'S THE CASE.

Right now he compares to a guy who could never beat out Carnell Williams in college for the starting job and will most likely report to camp late.

Comparing him to the likes of L.Tomlinson is not just. There not even close, Tomlinson domanated college football on a very below avg team and is now the best RB in the NFL by far, its not even close.

I would compare his running style to that of Natron Means or Antwain Smith

a run away mack truck that someone left a cinder block on the acclerator, coming to a stadium near you

From what I saw of him he reminded me of Deuce McAlister between the tackles, Brian Westbrook on the outside

:shakeno: You people will just never learn. There was no trying to "beat out" Caddilac at Auburn. He was not a backup.

I've explained this before, and I'm not wasting my time explaining it to you again.

But, I bet it sure was different when Willis McGimphee was drafted, you billies were probably comparing him to Gale Sayers and Eric Dickerson.

leave it to the bills fans...noone said he was the second coming of ladanian, i said he has very good recieving skills, a la tomlinson.

How am I homer? I didn't say anything about the Bills or how he compares or that Willis is better. Your claim is completely baseless

From what I hear he compares to Deuce Mcallister, but he is a better prospect. I have also heard Ladanian Tomlinson because of his speed and versatility, but not as shifty.

Who had more carries? Carnell
Who has more Yards? Carnell
Who has more TD's? Carnell
Who was the focal point of the running game? Carnell
Why didnt Brown see the bigger load of carries? Carnell
Who wore down the defense so Brown could come in and face a tired D? Carnell

Say what you want I just think the guy is going to be a bust. The guy was successful in college b/c he ran over people and he wont be able to do that in the NFL, just ask Ron Dayne. He may run a fast 40 but he doesnt have football speed, he was never known at Auburn to be a breakaway runner. Not only that but this guy was considered a second round pick till he ran that 40 at the combine. All that says to me is that he is the Mike Mamula of RB's untill he proves otherwise. Maybe I'm wrong I thought Lee Evans wasn't a very good pick and he turned out to be the second best WR in the draft stat wise w/ a loaded group.

I'd like to think that Ronnie Brown most resembles each and every other player thats NEVER PLAYED A DOWN IN THE NFL. Let them prove it on the turf. What they've done in college doesnt mean much. Remember Ryan Leaf? What about Akili Smith?

I just say this "prove it". When you do, then and only then have you EARNED it.

gotta love bills fans who bring nothing but quality comments to our board. billszone must really be terrible
