Who else do you guys think we might trade for picks?

Like my idea huh! lol

With a deep reciever class coming out in this years draft, shopping booker around might not be a bad idea. Although, this would be further evidence that we are, indeed, rebuilding on offense. Hagan has shown some promise and I think that he will end up replacing booker in a year or two.

Booker for a 5th round pick would be great. Or package Ricky and Booker for a 2nd. I am a Ricky supporter but if we can net a younger back in the 3rd or 4th round that would be great. Maybe Michael Bush. I heard his stock is dropping due to the second surgery. But I would take a chance on him. Even Brian Leonard would be a good pick-up in the 3rd

Since were probably not going to win it all very soon. Trade Taylor and Thomas to contenders, and give them a chance at the big game. I know we wont do that considering we signed Porter. Which leads me to believe Cameron is trying to put a winner on the field this year.

trading zach will proble not happen and i for 1 ,hope it doesnt...now imho i think we could get a 5th for booker and maybe a 4th for hill..last iheard the panthers needed a safety and considering hill has a pretty good year i think a 4th would be ideal and great..i say we need 1 more pick to boot and hopefully we dont trade any picks away

IMO I think Ricky could get us a fairly high pick (3rd or 4th) Even with his suspension scenario I still feel a team would take the chance.I mean Schaub is bringin 2 2nds(I am not sold on this guy he is still unproven). Michael Turner possibly could bring a couple of seconds(IMO his numbers may appear better due to LT,who knows how we will due as a primary back), and the Chiefs are shopping Green for a 2nd.(Great QB but not worth that at this stage of his career). My point is I think Ricky is more talented than any of those guys. Chambers is another player who I think could bring us a 2nd at least.I like both of these players but man those extra draft picks would come in handy.Daunte is another guy that I think we could get anywhere from a 4th to 7th for. IMO we could survive without these three guys if we had to. Chatman was a decent #2 for Cam in SD and Cobbs might suprise. If Chambers left we would still have Booker,Hagan,Hakim, and Campbell and we could use one of our picks to draft a WR. And if Daunte leaves we got Cleo and possibly could pick up Green or draft a QB or use Hamdan as a #3 if we had to. I would love to have a heavy arsenal of draft picks and have them learn together and do a quick little rebuild. I get tired of this retooling. Ifeel like we get to the hump and then retool instead of pushing over it. I like Cam-Muel alot and think they will make good decisions for us either way, I just feel it is a good deep draft and it would be a good time to get value for the guys I listed above.Oakland had interest for Daunte at one time, I could see Chambers in Green Bay,and Ricky would fit into many teams. Then if we traded down from #9 our picks could look like this: a #1, 4#2'S,and possibly 2#3's or #4s depending what we could get for Ricky, and possibly get a 5th for Daunte which we dont have as of right now.Thats alot of high end picks.

Trading Chambers could net us a 2nd or 3rd. He could be packaged to get Trent Green.

If we get Green, we could trade DC for a mid round pick. Face it IF we get Green he's the starter, and DC won't settle for backup.

Then we would have to draft at least 2 WRs in the draft.

YBell is tendered for a 2nd. I dont think anyone would give up a 2nd for him... but we could probably net a 3rd. I would be happy with that...

Realistically, I do not see us trading anyone else. Who lse is left that we would possibly trade? Ricky? He isnt worth anything to anyone. Booker? We need recievers and Hagan isnt ready for the #2 role. On the defense? noone is left except for Wilkenson and who the hell knows with him.

Its not a question of trading decent players for more draft picks so we can get over the hump, its getting the right coach and general manager who can make the most out of the picks we have. Five decent players drafted this year that can make the team and play could do wonders for this team. Seven or eight would do even better. A couple of good drafts could turn this team around and make it a contender. Of course that is JMO.

Rumor has it Zach Thomas maybe to the Broncos
You mean the rumor by some radio station in Denver that was just speculating about possible replacements for Wilson? The same rumor that has been debunked by many other sources including PFT?

Yeah, Zach is not being traded.
