Here 's a list of the top 10 or so QBs in the league.

Who would you take before Daunte.

Over Daunte

P. Manning
Palmer
Brady
Hasselcrack
McNabb
Dellhomme

After Daunte

Roethlesberger - efficient but not the gamechanger daunte is
Bulger - inconsistant. Stats are result of a pass happy system/many weapons
Plummer - even more inconsistant. couldn't play well in tough spots
T. Green - fell off last year. alot of sack, bad decisions, no pocket presence
Brees - Shoulder fell off in week 17. Seems like good leader..but no daunte
Vick - Watching him would be exciting, but after 5 yrs we know he's not a qb
Leftwich - alot of injuries. bad decisions in big games.

Dude, if the Dolphins got Peyton Manning yesterday..some people would complain that he can't win the big game, can't win without Harrison and that he is on the downside of his career

Sad but true....you know it

over daunte (assuming hes healthy)
peyton manning...period

peyton manning
daunte culpepper
tom brady
ben roethlisberger
carson palmer
matt hasselbeck

Tom Brady might be the only QB that ppl wouldn't complain about and all he did is win 3 Super Bowls...hehe (I guess that's all that it takes)

Hey you know what, we should finally be happy that for once we get a proven starter as our QB and not someone else's backup!!!! Of course theres some questions whether or not he's going to be the same before the injury but that goes for Brees as well. Only thing I'd like now is that we get a rookie QB to groom for a few years in the 3rd or 4th rounds.

Tom Brady, Carson Palmer, Hasselback (for god sakes, grow up. giving people nick names is just plain sad), Peyton Manning, and Matt Schaub over Daunte.

I agree 100%. I would rather have Culpepper and then draft someone like Croyle than have had Gus for another year and draft cutler. Its a win now league and we can win now.

I am definitely excited with Pepper's coming here. I was fed up with watching mediocre and even terrible QB's. So, basically, what I am saying is, I would not want anyone else here right now. I am happy with what we have and that we are now going to win more games.

Matt Schaub over Daunte? Not for nothing..but have you seen their completion percentages? I'm just saying...

well, his name is actually hasselbeck, but chill out, it's a message board.

A lot of fans are in love with the unknown (The back up from ATL, some third round QB, blah blah..) Give me a proven QB over anyone of those other options.. I hate the "get someone else's backup" wandstenian way of thinking.

I'm glad we don't make the decisions. :dolphins:

People think that QB's are nothing without certain people, Culpep w/o Moss, Manning w/o Harrison, Roethlisberger w/o all his great receivers, until they go to other teams, Daunte will find his guy, and here he will be amazing, I will take him over any guy in this list.
