john beck, and chad henne arent ready to start.. josh mccown is just horrible... like the announcers said here in orlando, "they get to figure out who is the future while pennington plays for the next few years."
 
2 years, 11.5 million to figure that out? grossly overpaid for Noodle Arm. ridiculous

We're gonna have to recycle some NBA forwards and centers washouts with good hamhocks who can still run 20-30 yards, and we might be okay. Maybe bring back your own Grizzly's Big Country Reeves, eh?

$11.5 million is greatly exaggerated. It looks like almost $6 million a year, but it is a very incentive laden contract. He is making more like $3-4 million a year. Not a bad contract at all.
 
I really am happy about Chad being here. He is an upgrade at the QB position. I really wanted to see us put points on the board but we failed to do that. The cupboards are bare folks. We are looking at another long season.
 
we are very lucky to have pennington for two or three years, chad henne is the future and pennington is our present and that is fine with me,

well...at first...I was happy...

and now...after seeing THAT game....I'm freakin retarded about it:woot:
 
I don't know anyone can't be pleased that the FO office went out and got the best player available.

Both Beck and McCown haven't looked good enough
 
we are in good shape at QB, and wow do we have some nice young players

Well I think Chad Henne is the QB of the future. That is why I think John Beck is gone because they don't need both him and Henne. Play Pennington this year and let him battle Henne for the starting job in 2009. At worst I see Henne being the full time starter in 2010 when Pennington's contract runs out and by then hopefully the Dolphins will be really good again. Two more offseasons to bring in some more players and two more solid drafts should help big time.
 
I think Pennington is going to be another Trent Green. I cant blame the FO though because he was the only option out there really. At least they are trying to find someone since Mccown really sucks.

Yeah and werent we required to spend a little more money anyways? This wasn't a bad signing at all

Ide rather see Pennington lead us to 5-6 wins than throw Beck or Henne out there and win 2-3 while they struggle
